The Blood Elf mount is a cockatrice. There were a few articles linked on the WoW main page a while ago (IGN, Gamespot, etc.) that mentioned both new races' mounts. Still, I haven't been able to find any pictures of the cockatrice yet.

I didn't see any cockatrices in the model viewer that's updated to read the BC files, but there is the mounted elephant thingy and a mounted phoenix along with a lot of new mobs. There's also graphics for player housing and guildhouses. Since there's never been any mention of us getting any of those, they might be red-herrings.

If you have the Model Viewer V0.48e, the REAL E that's in the link I provided (E was taken off Curse Gaming...the one listed says E but when you downloaded you'll find the previous version)... Model Viewer will NOT show the expansion files unless you have V0.48e

Open up the Model Viewer, the choices to the left, go all the way to the bottom to "World", expand that and then go to "WMO" and expand that. "Player Housing" is the last item on the list, just under "outland"

Not sure which section I found guild housing at but I'll look later, got to get to work early this morning.

It's there, trust me. Doesn't mean we'll get them though. Like I said, could be red-herrings.

That's the Gamespot article that mentions the cockatrice as the blood elf mount. It's the last paragraph on the first page. I have yet to be able to find any images or videos of it though. But that article was posted on the WoW front page. I doubt they would've let that up there if the information was incorrect.

I've seen videos with the elekk and the saddled phoenix. My guess is that the phoenix will another flying mount.

Nope, Danlily was half troll only because she was part of a breeding program by the Immortalis to infiltrate their blood elf (or half blood elf) agents into the horde prior to this negotiation that is taking place between the blood elf leaders and Silvanus. Danlily was produced by a blood elf woman and an enslaved troll in order to produce a blood elf that would be able to move freely among the horde last winter.

Eisabeau (my present character) is half blood elf and half human, but the main body of the deFafnyr and deStrasza family (two branches of one core family) is 100% Sindorei Bloodelf and will be led by Danyx as she takes over both halves of that core family and shores up the family fortune.

Where Danlily was motivated by serving as an agent, being a good soldier for Clys, and driven by her insanity, Danyx on the other hand will be motivated by power and greed...and a sense of humor akin to a certain Looney Toon character.
