Alliance Hypocrisy of Magic

The Alliance claims that we are evil -- doomed as a race for bending light and using arcane magic. But if that were so, then what can we say of Alliance use of magic? Do they constrain themselves to priestly and druidic arts. Do they outlaw the many warlocks that infest their ranks?

We Blood Elves have too many fallen kin to know just how well they can wield magic, and why wouldn’t they. It is the wielder of magic that commits good or evil. It is the soul of the creature that determines its use.

The Alliance know this, and yet, they hypocritically charge us of corruption because of our affinity to the craft. They say that we are abusive and dependent. But somehow their magic is not. Tell them to outlaw all such magic; however, and their own dependence becomes obvious.

The real issue is envy and fear. We taught them how to use magic, and now our students want to become our masters, particularly the humans. But how can they become our masters when we are the gifted, born with magic coursing through our veins.

This gift is not the curse they say. And isn’t it our duty to use our gifts, or are we a race of abominations. Are we born just that we must suffer the agony and pain of withdrawal? Of course not! Magic is as natural to us as food. Is it sane to deny ourselves food?

We must remember that we are a race that has always been the object of envy from others. That is why our safety as a race and culture had not been a priority during the Scourge attack! ((See Alliance Hostility (http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/encyclopedia/451.xml) - midpage) )

Let us remember who we are and take strength from it.
