A Year In The Life of TN

The server is now 1 year old. Lets post our 3 most memorable moments from the past year. The rules are simple; it must be RP based in some way. Lets avoid posting about that first epic drop or cleanest Scholo run, things that happen on any server.


Here are mine;


1) The Great Citadel footrace to Kargath!

2) The Battle of Loch Modan (remember that one? with the Immortalis poisoning plan?)

3) The death of Lupa'Jin (for sentimental reasons)

1)Infection's first attack! Darkshire was razed with the help of a fledging guild known as The Grim!

2)EVERYTHING involving the original plot with Clys and Lovely. Some memorable events there!

3)The Day the World Went Silent! Aiding the Grim in the assault of Alcaz Island, which subsequently led to the server crashing.


Good times, good times. Twisting Nether is definately unbeat in the quality of roleplay.

1) The fight in the bar between Gorthok and.. well, everyone else.

2) The TNG party in Booty Bay, where Grisch showed off his lovely dress collection.

3) The day Grisch left for good. *sigh*

The Grims attack on Dustwallow where we crashed the server twice.

1. The Crimson Watch's March of the Mad (were we marched thru all Horde capital cities yelling out the coming of the Crimson Lord)

2. The Morghoul / Liadain father/daughter story line

3. Yomi and her C.O.R.P.S.E. book adventures.

1. Fhenrir and Kaliera's wedding: I will never forget how Clys made poMort's ears burn with her witty banter.

2. The first TNG Shindig: Because I was so happy that so many people showed up and had a good time.

3. The "Clue" Halloween event: I think I played the part of Ms Scarlet. I forget who organized it, but it was fun, and The Grim's Halloween party happened right afterwards. Everyone was using their magic wands to change into other things and wearing masks and stuff. Much fun.

I know it was another female Tauren (not Snowfeather, but someone else). It was funny, I played Mustard, and even I didn't know the truth until right before we were supposed to reveal the culprit, being me.

I miss those days.

1. Mmm, yeah, I liked Fhenrir and Kaliera's (*snuggle*) wedding. I was the only alliance there (dwarf pally gg), so it was very interesting. ^.^

2. Sadly, I only started to RP on alliance...lemme think of something from horde...oh yeah, met this one guy in Darkshore when I was helping out alliance lowbies on my undead priest (I'm a good guy). We talked RPish for a full hour outside the Emerald Portal. <3

3. The first TNG shindig of course!

1. Clue Game, that was my second real RP event ever on WoW.

2. We crashed the server, twice attempting to destroy the King of Rats.

3. Snowfeather's Ceremony, first contact with The Grim.

-Kali and Fhen's wedding obviously comes to mind for me. To this day I still appreciate everyone who showed up to make the evening that much more special for the pair. :D (And as an added bonus, I got to tick off Zmack for skipping out on AQ for rp. XD)

-Novus' successful assault of both Staghelm and Tyrande, though I was not present for Tyrande's fall. It was satisfying as hell seeing Staghelm die, though. He's such a bastard.

-My old guild, <Rift>, formed the very first day of the server. RIP ;~;

no particular order!

1. raiding stormwind and causing a lot of drama but having a lot of fun and spawning many roleplay story arcs! being one shotted by lady katrana prestor because that's what happens when you are a level 40 horde in stormwind's throne room.

2. alcaz island! crashing server! being a part of something grand and wonderful! first grim rp event!

3. it was hard to decide but then i remembered: leaving the grim. too many events to put together... chavie, tharne, vuudu at brightwater lake, wondering what was to become of them, fishing, falling asleep... warneshi confronting chavie and emmons turned out to be eavesdropping AGAIN. syreena asking, "ar yu stil ma sis ter?" meeting with citadel leadership to talk about joining. much emotions involved. it was the most intense rp and ooc i have had here.

1. The Lovely/Clys Immortalis thing. Lots of fun there.

2. Finding out about this site.

3. The whole story with Lupa and Barke...

Hmm... a lot of my time here RPing hasn't really been big events. I'm much more of a "random RP" kinda guy. Infact now that I think about I can't really give credit to events in the same way I can the people I've spent the time with. Screw the events!

A note about that wedding too, it was fitting IC since the ceremony itself was all Fhenrir really cared about, but I'm still disappointed to this day. Mostly because I know if I'd put some more effort and planning into it it could have been a lot more fun, and actually had a noteworthy reception.

I dont know I had fun Fhenrir I thought you did fine at the wedding. I especially liked how kaleria stayed in bear form until the ceremony began it was very cute. Sometimes I think people forget that events dont need to "crash the server" to be good.

well mine would have to be when a good WoW buddy of mine and long time partner in crime on the BGs named Naam proposed to Zoeva. It was nice to see Naam and Zoeva again. It had been so long. I've missed the onld days of Naam, Thyrus, Diaka, Bloodymarie and me in Mid field. Anyways....We gathered in Mount Hijal for a wedding and guess who showed up. My most favorited Cow in the world, my very own care bear....FHENRIR!!! and his lovely, sexy momma of a taurin, Kaliera.((the funny part was when Makarakis mind controlled her and asked her if she wanted to go being the tree and make whoopy!....never saw a dwarf get smacked so hard with a staff in my life))

The King of Rats event was my first Grim event, and I actually wasn't even a Grim yet. I was thrilled that the Grims let a little level 22 tag along on their raid, especially since I already knew I wanted to join them!

The event in Silverpine with the IFR dwarf and the three warlocks. It was fun scouting around with Muatah, Trilok, and Mortica. The twist at the end in the Sepulchre was my favorite part. EVIL!

Those are the two server-wide things that stand out for me the most, but there are so many little things and smaller events. The more time I spend in BG's with people from other servers, the more I appreciate the people of TN.

EDIT: Responding to Cedes

That was definitely a fun one. It was pretty fun being surrounded by a gigantic pack of alliance in nothing but my RP outfit and not getting killed. Of course, it probably would have been boring without at least one person there who could understand what I was saying. :D

We also got lost on the way there, and I accidentally got my wife beat up by a demon. :oops:

Chingaso's first organized raid, and the lvl 10 asshat who remained unflagged and followed me laughing the whole time.

The whole Chingaso/Lelenia drama and how it has played out. Word of warning, lots of people won't like where I'm thinking about taking it.

First MC Grim run and getting 2 Giantstalker pieces. Plus we made it all the way to Majordomo before wiping and calling it a night.

Bonus: Getting a call from Vilmah to help her and some other horde slay some epic beast outside Hammerfall. It was a good battle.
