I know we have several Canucks here so I just wanted to wish you all a happy Canada Day! ^^

From the wiki-

Canada Day (French: Fête du Canada), formerly Dominion Day (French: Le Jour de la Confédération), is Canada's national day, a federal statutory holiday celebrating the anniversary of the 1 July 1867 enactment of the British North America Act, which united Canada as a single country of four provinces. Canada Day observances take place throughout Canada as well as internationally.

Happy Canada day! I've always thought this day was here to remind me pre-Independence Day how kickass it is to be American. Which, in case any of you Canadians are wondering, it's real kickass!

<3 Canada

And you think the bag of milk thing is a weird joke until you're sitting at the table with people getting their milk out of a bag and looking at you with that 'What?' look on their faces. o_O;; Oh, and then they come here and they're like 'why is your milk not in a bag? How RARE'

Best fast-food poutine you can get in Toronto is from New York Fries, believe it or not.

Short of going to Quebec or Northern Ontario anyway.

Luckily I'm up north for the summer!

I would believe it. The NY Fries here uses the right gravy for them too so its extra fast food good.

I'll have to remember that next time I'm up there, although I'm not sure if Cris knows where one is. He had to wander around for a while to find someplace open that he could get drinks at yesterday. Stupid Longo's and their stupid hours. One thing we do have that you don't is 24/7 grocery stores huzzah!

Nope, still not a good tradeoff ;.;

Milk in bags is an abomination.

Some places do. Most municipalities have laws that don't allow for businesses to be open beyond a certain hour. And everyone I knew at Safeway threatened to walk out if we ever went to 24 hours since it was an rumoured option once.

If you were wandering through Toronto for poutine, and never heard about this place, you should be ashamed. Especially since it was the first option from google under "Toronto poutinerie"

http://smokespoutinerie.com/

They are, around here at least, legendary. Not montreal quality, but then if they were what would we eat when we go to montreal? ;D

DAMN YOU TAKNAR! AND YOUR CRAFTINESS! *shakes fist*

Actually it was more like my last day there and I suddenly was like 'hmm, I want poutine. Where can we get it around here?'

Was very sad ;.;
