View Full Version : Three Friends Lost

Terich

Three companions trudged through the forest of Duskwood. They were an odd looking trio, consisting of two orcs and a Forsaken. The first orc, to the right, was an average sized orc and was dressed in mail armor. He carried a very large mace at his side. He had a blank expression on his face. Lightning circled his bodyas he walked, and he appeared to be lost in thought. In the middle of the trio stood the second orc. He was slightly larger then the first, and was covered from head to toe in heavy plate armor. He carried a large spear on his back. He was humming a cheerful tune, and had a large smile on his face, as if he had not a care in the world. The one on the left, the Forsaken, was not quite as tall as the orcs. He was dressed in simple cloth robes, of a black color. He was obviously getting more and more irritated by the second. Where are the Alliance? He thought to himself. They usually infest these woods. And where's that blasted path?! They continued on their way, in a most uneventful trek through the woods. The Undead seemed to be growing angrier and more frustrated every moment they spent wandering around aimlessly. He kept glancing at the orc with disgust evident upon his face, twitching every time the orc went off key in his humming (Which was quite frequent), or became too loud (Just as frequent). Finally, the Undead could stand it no longer.

The Forsaken glared at the humming orc with anger glinting in his eyes. "By the Shadow itself! Togron, could you stop that miserable humming and let us live in peace?!" He snarled at the orc.

The orc, Togron, kept on humming, as if he hadn't heard him. The Forsaken said, this time quite a bit louder, "TOGRON! ENOUGH!"

Togron smiled at the Undead and said "Okay Terich Pal!" His smile widened as he said, "I not hum nomore! I do something else for funness!" And Togron began to whistle some other happy sounding tune. The Forsaken, Terich, sighed and dropped his head into his palm.

"Why must I endure this torment?" He muttered to himself. "Why the blazes did I have to get stuck with him?!" He seethed with anger for a few moments, but then realized he'd better try to calm down. He took a few deep breaths and then remained silent for a few moments, trying to endure Togron's noise-making. Togron, oblivious of Terich's irritation, caught side of some ravens in a tree to the left, sitting on the branches, and began whistling as loud as he possibly could, apparently thinking that it would attract them to him. Terich, caught off guard by the sudden loud noise, screamed out loud because Togron had whistled directly in his right ear. The orc on the right stirred from his trance and pulled out his mace, thinking they were under attack, and let out a blood thirsty cry, "Spirits, aid me now! Help me strike the enemy and avenge my ancestors!. For the Horde!" The ravens screeched and flew off to the North. The orc stared at them in surprise, while the undead glared at Togron with murder in his eyes, holding his ear.

"They be spies from Alliance bums! Me kills them!" Togron pulled out a gun he'd attatched to his back, and leveled it to the ravens. He let out a sharp whistle as he pulled the trigger, powder bursting into Terich's face, as well as into the other orc's face as well. The Ravens were directly struck by the bullets, and a flurry of feathers drifted to the ground. Terich screeched and fell to the ground, clutching his face in his hands. Krolg yelped and swung his mighty hammer where the blast came from. The hammer struck Togron in the chest which resounded in a loud "KLANG!" As Terich lay on the ground, moaning, Togron looked at the dent in his plate armor. He then lifted his gaze to Krolg, and grinned. "Wow Krolg! You sure be strong to dent armor! Me be happy for you! But now you have to pay to fix dent."

The orc, Krolg, stared at Togron for a few moments. Then, he started looking around, searching for the Alliance he was sure had attacked. Then he looked back at Togron. "Togron...did a group of Alliance just charge in here, screaming and about to attack us, or...did you just shoot a couple of ravens?"

Togron thought about it for a moment, with a puzzled look on his face. After several moments of hard thought, he looked at Krolg again. "Uhh.... I think..uh...well...me thinks it was shooting ravens, but me not knows for sure."

Krolg looked Togron in the eye for a full minute, the woods silent, except for Terich muttering in a dark language swearing revenge and cursing Togron with every word he knew. Finally, Krolg simply said, "Well, that's fine." Krolg put his hammer away, back where it belonged, and stepped past Togron to where Terich lay. Terich lay on his back, still muttering something to himself, cursing the orc race in general and Togron specifically. Krolg eyed Terich with an amused expression on his face, and then offered his hand to him. "Need any help, Terich?"

"NO!" Terich snarled. He was still holding a hand over his face, and still cursing. He slowly stood up, and when he did, he glared at Togron with hatred burning in his eyes. With his free hand, he pointed at Togron and said, very slowly, "Togron.....You are going to pay for this...I'm going to kill you now...yes...right now, I'm going to kill you!" Shadow engulfed Terich's body, and he began to cast a spell. Krolg stepped in his way.

"You'll do no such thing!" Krolg stated calmly. Terich glared at him with a crazed look in his eyes. Krolg readied his hammer, and stood his ground, between Terich and Togron. Togron was not paying any attention, facing the opposite direction and chasing after a moth. Terich and Krolg stared each other down for several moments, each anticipating the other's attack. Finally, Terich looked down and the Shadow around him dispersed. Krolg relaxed the grip on his mace and put it back.

"Well...I hate to say it, but your right Krolg." Terich sighed. "I shall not. The Alliance are the only true enemy anyways. We should not fight amongst ourselves. Otherwise...we'll be easy to pick off and destroy. My apologies." Terich turned away and stared ahead, at nothing in particular, simply thinking to himself. Krolg watched him for a few moments, nodded, and then turned the other way and walked towards Togron. Togron had taken several swats at the moth, but still couldn't catch it. Finally, exasperated, Togron pulled out a giant club, made of hard wood. The moth landed on a tree, and Togron crept up to it really slow. He held the club above his head, and chuckled to himself. Then, he brought down the club with all his strength on the poor month's body, yelling out, "ME GOING CATCHES YOU!" The club smashed the moth into minuscule bits, and Togron danced around with glee. "Me caughts it! Me caughts it! I knew me could caughts it! Nya ah ah ah ah ah ah!" He laughed heartily.

Krolg chuckled to himself and approached Togron. "Well, Togron, we'd best get a move on," he said to him. "We don't want to sit still too long."

Togron smiled broadly. "Okay Krolg pal! We be going now!" He turned towards Terich and began to move towards him. Krolg ran in front of him and whispered something to him first.

"By the way..er....it might be in your best interest if you didn't hum or whistle for a little while, alright? Terich, well, you know him. He's in one of his moods. So...let's just try to be quiet for a while, alright? No humming or whistling." Krolg explained this all to him in a quiet voice, so Terich wouldn't hear. Togron yelled "Okay! No humming or whistling for Terich while he be in bad mood! BAAAAAD MOOOOD!" Terich flinched as he heard that, and muttered something to himself. Togron just laughed, and they continued on their way.

Togron looked around, with a big grin on his face, and he had a skip in his step as he moved, even though wearing a considerable amount of heavy plate armor. But...after wandering around for a few minutes, Togron began to get bored. His head swung from watching Krolg to his right, to Terich on his left. After doing this several times, he sighed and looked straight forward. Then, suddenly, he brightened up and looked at Terich again. "Terich Pal! I know what cheer you up! You need...singing! About me favorite food, pie!"

A look of horror crossed Terich's face. "Dear Shadow! No, I implore you! Don't do it, I can't take it!" But Togron, either not hearing because Terich didn't say it loud enough or he ignored him. Togron cleared his throat, and then began to sing, very loud, horribly off key, and screeching at the high notes.

"OOHHHHHHHH!
Me likes Pieeeeeeeeeeeeee
Me not knows whyyyyyyyy!
But me not lieeeeeeeeeeee!
Or can't denyyyyyyyyyyy!
Pie pie pieeeeeeeeeeeeee!
OHHHHHHHHH!
Me loves pie that be best
that pie be past the test!
Me likes...."

(You get the idea.)

Terich began trembling with rage. His eyes glowed with anger, and darkness began to consume him once more. Krolg shot a warning look at him and then turned to Togron with a smile on his face. "Togron, you know, that was such lovely singing, but...."

Togron regarded him with a confused look. "But what? Me singing be good, and Terich need cheer up! It be perfect cure, cause' me knows pie be bestest. And Terich like what me like! So singing cheer up! Me bets he swirling with happiness right now. He be happy happy happy! Wait wait! That be good song!"

"OHHHHH"

Terich clutched his fists and then an odd expression crossed his face. Before Togron started singing the next verse, he reached into his pocket and withdrew a small hammer. Krolg eyed him with suspicion in his eyes. Terich smiled at him, and then, with all his strength, brought the small hammer against Togron's skull. "OW!" Togron shrieked, interrupted in mid verse. "That hurt head! That be painful! Fine! If you be like that, Terich, you stiff, you not hear no more singing! So, there! Serves you right, mean braindead!"

Terich grinned evilly at Krolg. He faced Togron with a serious expression. "Oh, Togron, I am most sorry. But...I suppose I must face the consequences."

"Darned right, you do! You be facing biggie big consequences! Gigantically, hugely, largely, bigly, big consequences! Serves you right! What a stiff. Whaaaaat a stiff." Togron turned his head away and looked straight up in the air with a great "HMPH!" sound. He then proceeded to walk into a tree. "OW! STUPID TREE! ME CHOP YOU DOWN!" Togron grabbed an axe from his belt and began beating on the tree with it as fast and as hard as he could. Terich just chuckled to himself, and even Krolg, one of Togron's closest friends and supporters, couldn't help but laughing a bit. Togron glared at the tree. "Let this be big bad lesson to you, dirty tree! You not be picking on any more orcs by getting in way! So me chop you down!" Togron swung with all his might at the tree, and the axe rebounded off and slammed into Terich. Terich flew backwards into another tree, and collapsed to the ground. "OH NO! TERICH PAL!" Togron shouted as he ran toward his fallen companion. Krolg rushed over as well.

Terich suddenly jumped up, waving them away. "I can handle this myself, fools! Now back away! I don't want to be touched by your cursed hands again!" WIth that, Terich began casting a healing spell upon himself.

"Okay Terich pal! But for that, you get nooo moooore singing." Togron seemed rather pleased with himself for dealing out such "harsh" punishment to Terich. Finally, he was getting back at him. Terich, after finishing the spell, smiled to himself, and continued on. Krolg looked at Togron, shrugged, and then followed. Togron stood there for just a few more moments, and then ran to catch up.

A human rogue stepped into the brush near a giant tree tree, watching the Forsaken and orc move away. He was about to return to Darkshire to report his findings when he heard the other orc charging through the woods. "Wait for me! WAIT FOR MEEEEEE!" Togron yelled out. He tripped over a tree branch and sprawled out onto the ground, his spear flying from his grasp. The human stood, dumbfounded, and not able to move fast enough, as the spear shot straight toward his head. At the last moment, he ducked, but the spear arched down as well, striking him through the forhead. "GAAAAHHH!" He screamed, and then fell down, a pool of blood forming around his head. Terich heard the sound and whirled around, charging back from where he came from. Krolg did as well. Togron merely walked over to the spear and reached over to pick it up. "Aheh aheh aheh aheh.....That ALliance bum got blood all over me spear! Me going to smash him with me clllllub." Togron lifted his heavy club over his head, and brought it down on the human's head, repeatedly, and blood and brains squirted out from the man's head. Terich and Krolg arrived a few moments later, and they watched as Togron beat on the human's remains.

"Never thought he could be so cruel." Terich stated out loud. He cackled at that. "Ha! Finally he's learning how to treat those wretced Alliance! Perhaps there's hope for him yet."

Krolg simply shook his head. He didn't really care one way or the other. "Hmm....this is a bit more violent for Togron, don't you think?"

"Yes! I was hoping he would become this way eventually!"

"Well, yes, but..." Krolg broke off as a bit of blood spattered against his helmet. Togron kicked the body once again for good measure, and then walked away. Okay, Pals! We can be continuing now!" Togron started to head east again. Terich and Krolg joined him.

After walking on a bit farther, they finally decided that it would be best if they left Duskwood about that time. They'd been lost in there long enough. Terich asked Togron to check the map, and Togron brought it out immediately. He studied it for a few moments. "Okay, now we go left." A few moments later, Togron said, "Okay, pals, another left." After a bit more time passed, "Okay! Left again!" They walked on just a bit, and once more, "Another left here!" And they continued to turn left, in a pattern, over and over again. Finally, Terich could bare it no longer. "Togron! We've gone left seventeen times! I think that's enough!"

Togron studied the map, flipped it over, and shook his head. "No, no...one more."

Krolg, as patient as he was, finally ran out. "Gimme that!" Krolg snapped. He snatched the map from Togron's hands and looked at it himself. His expression turned into that of a confused one. "Togron...you had this on it's side, and flipped over."

Togron smiled with pride. "Yes yes! Me knows how read maps! But that one be in strange language. Me not knows why. Me thinks it be demonic or Night Elf tongue." He danced around them, chuckling to himself.

Krolg sighed, and flipped it upright. He studied it for a moment, and directed that they go straight ahead from here. They eventually came to the path. "Good. We should be able to find our way out from here." Krolg stated.

Togron raced ahead. "Me gets out first! Nya ah ah ah ah ah!" Togron sprinted off towards the exit to Duskwood. Terich sighed and followed. Krolg walked on with him, studying the map. It had been a long day, and they needed some rest. Suddenly, Terich, heard Togron yell out "AIIIIIIEEEEE! HELP! HELP! ALLIANCE BUMS! KILL EM'!"

"Finally!" Terich exclaimed! "Some excitement! Come, Krolg, let us hurry! Battle awaits us!" The two of them raced off towards Togron's shouting voice and the sound of weapons striking, flesh being ripped, and a human screaming for mercy. Terich cackled as he raced forward. Perhaps the day wasn't a total waste, after all.

((Classic, and the best part about it is... this actually happens when you three go out.

The Togron lines are the best))
