The dark leather bound journal seems simple with the exception of the spiral design engraved into its surface on both sides. In the far right bottom corner the initials MD have been roughly scratched into it. The only thing holding the book closed is a leather strip wrapped several times around, glass beads of random colors melted to each tip of the strand.

So apparently a few of the others in the barracks found my journal, while debating the pros and cons of reading it, as well as arguing over it, they dropped it into a FIRE. One of the others retrieved it and returned it, but the journal was made of paper through and through so there was little to none left of it. I’m keeping it in a box for keep sake reasons, but otherwise its useless and so here is a new journal. My aunt surprised me with it when she somehow over heard the news (crazy old woman has ears and eyes everywhere).
I’ll start my first entry by stating that I am currently an Adept Blood Knight, my name is Medaira Sunstriker, and I am soon to be wed to a Blood Knight named Lord Fëagrim Bloodwreath. It’s an arranged marriage; something my mother and aunt believe will hold our place as nobles of Silvermoon and hopefully grant us enough wealth that we don’t have to struggle to keep our estates in this time of war.
I met him for the first time a few weeks ago, we have only spoken one other time since. He seems.. boring. Stiff. A fighter. Extremely attractive. Boring. Boring. He doesn’t smile. I told him I was going to come up with a nickname for him, something to call him by when no is I around to hear, a pet name of sorts. Calling him Lord Bloodwreath is too much of a mouthful, so why not something shorter? I can’t think of anything now, after all I have only been in his presence for a few hours at most, surely something he does will lead me to think of a nick name other then ‘The Boremonster’. I didn’t see his reaction to my words, but I’m sure I heard him grumble.
The wedding preparations are going well, Sir Athin is preformign the services, now all I need to do it find a damn shaman!
