Here is another signature made using GIMP for a seldom-seen alt of mine. This time I only used MSPaint to crop the image. I don't remember what else I did--it was mostly messing around with different tools and filters until it looked as I thought it should. Again, someone else would have more helpful advice as to how exactly to make one. :)

(Oh, and in both cases, the pictures are just screenshots taken in-game.)

Best bet is to use Photoshop for any kinda work. Its a pretty simple program for VERY basic stuff. And the more you play the better you get. WoW Model Viewer is nice if ya want a single picture of your character in a position alone (easy to isolate) but if you wanna alter a screenshot Adobe is my best friend.

I use Corel Photopaint to do mine. I am also quiet fond of the WoW model viewer for capturing action shots that you just can get right in game. :)

A couple screenshots and a nice stock footage background of a dark forest. Some lighting effects to simulate moonlight/starlight and Voila!

I use a combination of WoW Model Viewer, MS Paint and Photoshop...Im not quite 100% proficient with Photoshop yet, so I use Paint to alter a lot of simple things.


...Nadea needs to make a new sig, hers is way outdated X.x

If you can get a copy of photoshop, that really works out the best...

I use it to make most of mine. I made my current one with it (but in a hurry and with a sucky screenshot to work with, so that's why it kind of looks like crap.) But you CAN do some really nice looking things.
