*inside you find messy journal entries with numerous "Notes to Self" written along the side.*

I feel the time has come to keep a journal. Here I can jot down my thoughts and take some notes. The world I live in now has become quite dangerous as of late, and I would hate to forget anything exciting.

Recently I have been in the market for a good home…well not in the “market”, since I have no intention on paying for a place to sleep. Falling asleep wherever I please has gotten very bothersome, I do not enjoy waking up in puddles of strange liquid. It didn’t look or taste like water or any other beverage I know… more like a dry bitter….

Note to Self: bathe quickly…. Or when someone notices the smell….

But don’t get me wrong, I am not so poor as to not be able to sleep in the Legerdemain. I simply find it quite awkward that they lack any sort of door. You would think that with all the big hairy/ ugly Horde walking around they would separate it at least somewhat. Waking up to a naked dancing Blood Elf is a nice surprise but it is far from what I came to the Inn for… atleast it is better than the night before.

Note to Self: those large hairy creatures may look nice and soft...but they smell of feces and dry, bitter urine....urine...wait a...

That isn’t even the worst part, at all times of the day and night you can hear people screaming their wares and items at the top of their lungs. No one wishes to buy a piece of TitanSteel in the wee hours of the night.

I need a secluded but also one that is close to a town. I have ruled out the place they call Outland simply because I would rather not live on a continent that has sheer edges that lead to nothingness. I have also ruled out the place of Northrend, it is far too close to the raging war.

I guess I will continue my search for a place. I will update you with what I find. From reading the brochures I hear that Stranglethorn, Hillsbrad, Hinterlands, and Redridge are all very nice places.

Note to Self: atleast rinse out headgear, I think the liquid clings to it more...and the thought of breathing that stench in all day might make me pass out

I woke up today in Orgrimmar. Aside from the orc body I propped up in the corner, it was very comfy. The floor was covered in soft bear fur, and the green fellow already had a nice roaring fire prepared for me. I do sort of feel bad for the orc, from the stench it seemed he had no access to a bath. He didn’t make very good conversation, atleast his face wasn’t bludgeoned in, since I made sure to slide the knife in his lower back. But enough about that, my main goal yesterday and today was finding a nice new home to settle down in. I achieved it…somewhat…

Note to Self: visit more often, the horde are quite exposed there.

My first location I had hoped to settle down in was that of a place called Strangethorn. The goblin made brochure made it out to be a tropical paradise filled with magical creatures and endless amounts of land to settle in. Those goblins… are very bad liars… The gryphon master in Stormwind told me that the gryphon would settle down in a place called The Rebel Camp… As you can see I was less than excited to land in a place called Rebel Camp. But I decided to give it a shot...I made a mistake in doing so.

Note to Self: kill some goblins

As soon as I landed I was greeted a multitude of dead bodies. The guards were running every which way, while the gryphon master seemed totally lost in his own world while feeding his gryphons. I got away from that strange camp as soon as possible and made my way to a nearby camp a frantic guard called Nesingwary’s. There I met a group of dwarves and humans who seemed bent on wiping all animals out of Stranglethorn. Before questioning them further I noticed the large amount of skeletons surrounding the camp…I quickly backed away. Stranglethorn is NOT a place to settle down.

I have visited most places north of the Thandol Span. Every place there that isn’t polluted by the walking dead is a great place to settle down. Arathi, Hillsbrad, Hinterlands, Alterac, and even to some extent Silverpine all have what I am looking for. I do find myself drawn towards Hillsbrad, seeing as Southshore is the only established human town in the entire region. Hinterlands are nice but I am not to fond of dwarves and elves...throwing that in with a healthy amount of trolls and we have a problem. Arathi and Alterac both have wide-open expanses but suffer from bandits and ogres. Silverpine is a home away from home…as long as you stay away from Pyrewood Village during the night.

Note to Self: do not stay in the Pyrewood Inn

I think I shall explore these places further, mainly Hillsbrad. For now I sleep where I please.
