I wonder if that would be acceptable, myself. Currently, there's no alliance with the Blood Elves yet. They're still thought of as an enemy of the Horde. That being considered, if you RPed it out that way, I don't see why you wouldn't be able to communiccate, seeing as how Horde communicate with the Alliance on the boards all the time.

My Blood Elf character has already made a few... appearances, but mostly because he ties in with Fallacy, being his brother-in-law and all. Of course, there's no love in that relationship.

I can't play a Blood Elf here on TN, but since I rerolled Horde on Venture Co. I have been saving things for my BE Pally. Beauty, my human priest, has been residing in the head of my orc rogue Razora, and when the expansion comes out she will get a new body...The Blood Elf Pally. Already got the name saved and everything.

Can't wait!

Well, Vilmah said it right... Blood Elves aren't our allies yet.

But, that doesn't mean they exist. You can use out of character knowledge of the upcoming expansion to be sort of a "rolling to" of your character. There's a change on the wind and the direction is blowing north and all that jazz.

Bloodelves will be hated... HATED by the Horde I tell you...but they will be more befriended by the Forsaken.

Plus, their city is hawt.

High Elves are blood elves. They are just different factions now I guess. Read the BC faq, it says the high elves are no longer trusted by the alliance and now called themselves blood elves. There are always exceptions to a rule though, like the blood elf in Stormwind castle.

It's just those few exceptions...very...very few.

High Elves and Blood Elves are NOT the same. Same race, different factions. The sheer majority 98% are Blood Elves, but there are still some who want nothing to do with demonic energies. These are the guys in Eastern Plaguelands, or the Hinterlands, who lack green eyes and red/black attire and are Alliance flagged.

I should note that if not for them, going solely on WCIII, there'd be no reason not to assume all High Elves became Blood Elves.

I might very well play a blood elf, simply so I can be a paladin and not leave the Horde, but that doesn't change my views on them, summed up here:

I plan on staying horde, so i guess if i so choose i'll roll BE. Seeing as how I spent more than a year as alliance, i still have a longing to be horde. I am loving it so far. BE Priest is what i'm looking at.

I'm still miffed that they won't give me the option of red eyes for the blood elves, especially when there's one in the Blasted Lands with red eyes. Those two are so funny looking, because they're just Night Elves with Blood Elf skins, and the boy is shorter than the girl... ha!

Ooh, I can SO see Danyx handing over coin to lay on a couch and lament to your psychiatrist about her ugly cousin Danlily and how she's going to get her hands on the winery, etc. Would be great transition RP moving out of Danlily and into Danyx. Maybe even pulling Danlily out (who is half bloodelf) in the meantime to get some professional psychiatric advice about feeling persecuted by her cousin, not to mention "Mother" hasn't been speaking to her and why isn't the music playing in her head anymore?

I have a private channel set up in-game for his nameholder (a troll) to use for private consultations, but because I am quite busy on Chavie appointments must be made and kept.
