Well, I was planning on making this a suprise after a battle I was going to plan, but I don't have time to organize it. I'm quitting WoW, probably for good, to try and do something with my real life rather than pretend to be a midget with a beard and a bad scottish accent.

Been fun fighting in game and making crude sex jokes out, but I decided its time I put all the behind me, as its going to be worthless to getting me somewhere. I'll probably be gone for good by the start of september, if not then sept 19th (when my subscription goes out)

IRONFORGE REGIMENT

Aww... no... but I hope the break from Wow gives you some peace. I know that this game can drive someone absolutely nuts.

(Come back and roll with us... Horde side... dark side... you know you wanna...)

I hope you feel better.

...you mean there's more out there??

You don't have to quit though dude, seriously. Lookit all the people here! We do more than play WoW. I successfully managed to play WoW through being a full time college student, working full time, and having a boyfriend.

Granted, he plays WoW too, BUT!!

As you can see, you can still live and play WoW! But if this is your final decision, then you'll be missed.

You can never go wrong with having a personality to stick with what you want. Got some goals to do, and WoW is slowing it down? Good for you on deciding the better course.

I'm always a firm believer of people getting positives from service in the armed forces. While you do gain a lot of benefits... it is still a life of servitude to the lives of those you call countrymen. If that is your goal? Rock on. Four years or fourty years... at the end there will be few true regrets.

If your life takes you elsewhere? The world is a very large place - and there are a lot of things to do out there. While you may be leaving World of Warcraft behind, you can always take friendships or lessons from those you play with.

While this is a game (or message board in this case!), it is a portal to that world. You've interacted with a plethora of people from different backgrounds - and so you've made yourself a little more cultured and knowledgable. Take advantage of it... since the other option could of been drugs, sex, and rock&roll.

Best advise I can give you: Don't eat the banana.

~And don't listen to Vilmah. She's the devil.

You're only saying that because I granted you three wishes in exchange for your immortal soul. I was getting the raw end of the deal, anyway.

I understand your motivations Turen. If you feel its time to move on, then thats what you need to do. Its a freakin game! It isn't going anywhere anytime soon. So if the urge and free time comes upon you to log back on, there will be a community here to welcome you. I found that out first hand.

Be well in knowing that same community wishes you all the best whatever you decide to do.

Take care Brother...

I've made up a little video to say goodbye and tie off loose ends, which I'll release Friday, September 1st.

Its...kinda depressing but I feel it sets the tone approprietly.
