Entry 1 -

One does not come upon adventures such as these easily. As I was introduced to such a rarity, I will document it here for later study.

I was in Cantrips and Crows as it is the inn that has taken my fancy of late when an old aquaintance of mine strolled up. Her familiar stature was altered to an extent that I was unable to recognize her until smiled and spoke.

"Been a while, hasn't it Alek?" The Death Knight drawled. She slipped into the chair opposite mine, calling for the bar-wench's attention. I studied her calmly as she ordered her drink. Once a woman, a rogue, Calestra sat back sipping her drink.

I set my own down. I looked upon her visage steadily. "I heard of your death months ago, Calestra. I see my source was false."

She waved it away with a relaxed hand. "No, I'm quite dead Alek." She grinned fiercely, leaning forwards. "But enough of this. You've no idea how many times I've had to explain myself."

I was irked at her callousness. She gave me no time to respond.

"I have a job for you. One that includes half-dragons, mad men, hopeless love, and, above all, anger."

I worked with her only once in the past, briefly. I have either forgotten how much I exposed myself to her, or remained ignorant of her intelligence. As it is, this Death Knight knew how to pique my interest.

In an effort to keep the details from escaping to enemy eyes, I will not describe the details she gave me here. In short, I have taken this job upon myself. It will not be easy, and for that I thank the Death Knight. There are never enough entertaining things when War surrounds you on all sides.
