Are there any roleplaying hotspots? I'd like to get in on some random rp and am not willing to leave my current guild for an rp guild.

Hm.

The Undercity's old Throne Room has been used a number of times for roleplaying. I've also seen the lake in Thunder Bluff as well. Though, most things are kind of spurred on and unpredicated. There is no 'hang out' for most of the Horde roleplayers - but that is more by practice than choice.

Don't want to leave your guild, but want to roleplay with other guilds? Got to promote yourself. Find a guild or group of guilds that are along your characters view of thought - and throw out some bait. Not one to fish? Well, then just confront them.

You can also start something up to try and draw people out. Be it a fight, an association, a party, an event... whatever. While some might be leery (like a bunch of basement virgins, we are) to venture outside, some *will* come.

As Abric mentioned, there's no real "hotspot" per se Hordeside, mostly because (I think) due to the layout and location of the Horde major cities (IF and SW are really close, Darnassus just a stop before running to IF and SW). You can try Brill, which is your best bet for random stuff Hordeside.

Alliance side, is the crossroads in Goldshire still good for random encounters (was on CC)? Only time I'm there are when I wanna get 40-manned.

And get flagRSP! Its the only addon Abric would ever think of using! It'll quickly show you who are RPers, and somewhat serious about it.

I'll go ahead and throw in another endorsement for flagRSP. It takes away that "trial and error" process of trying to find roleplayers. I've had some great random RP encounters thanks to flagRSP.
