View Full Version : Moonglade is boring

While I found it to be a beautiful place, I did get a little bored being stuck there for an hour.

Apparently, Druids can teleport there, but cannot teleport back. I was not made aware of that specifically. So when I finished my strength and spirit bear quest on the outskirts of Mulgore, I activated my trusty hearthstone to take me back to the big city in the sky. After gathering my wits (that hearthstone always makes me dizzy), I ran as fast as I could to talk with my trainer, Durak Runetotem.

He gave me this neat little teleporting device that allows me to transport to Moonglade so I could speak with Dendrite Starblaze. So, wasting no time, I used this device and was instantly transported to a land rich with color…a land as peaceful as any Tauren could ever dream of. And I thought Mulgore was beautiful!

Dendrite was an odd looking being, like none I had ever seen, not that I am one to judge. But I did have a hard time not starting at his lengthy, pointy ears as he spoke with me. After listening to his story, he then asked me to find the Bear Spirit, and I did with not too much trouble, and hastily returned to speak with him. As bad fortune would have it, he then gave me instructions to go back and speak with my trainer, Durak, all the way back in Mulgore! It hadn’t even been 15 Azeroth minutes since I used my trusty hearthstone device, so I instinctively when to find the windriders. I found him quickly enough, as if I had already been there in a past life or something. Yet, adding to my frustration, when I arrived, the flight master told me that he was unable to facilitate my wishes to leave. I could just hear the spirits chuckling at me as I scratched my tauren hips wondering what to do. They can be devilishly humorous sometimes, it seems.

So I set forth back to the Moonglade camp to speak with some of the vendors. Sure enough, they had many things to sell, and the moonberry juice looked so delicious, but all they would sell me was milk and spring water…my frustration grew as I wandered around, biding my time til I could use my hearthstone. I did buy some food to hold me over and decided to plunk myself down in a corner of what seemed to be a reception area to the city. Gnawing away at my tough jerky, I wondered what had Moonglade been like before the war. It seemed so quiet, yet held so much mystery. Eventually, after much daydreaming about the ones that fought before me, I was able to hearth back to my friends in Thunderbluff.

Once the dizziness wore off, I ran up to the elder rise and spoke to my trainer again. He taught me how to shape shift into bear form, so I practiced that at length, running around the city and trying to scare the elder Tauren. They did not flinch, not a one of them, as I’m sure they have seen many young Druids like myself running around as foolishly as I. Some of the younger Tauren did start to giggle though, when I started dancing. That made me happy and my frustrations of being stuck in Moonglade seemed to fade away as I danced before the crowd.

(( Interesting story, but as a sidenote there are some flight masters in the town of Moonglade itself that will specifically sell druid a flight back to their capital city.

I believe the flight is cheap/free as well. ))
