History
Roslynn knows nearly nothing of her past before a caring Tauren couple took her in. She was only an infant at the time, but whatever the excuse was, her true Sin'dorei parents did not want her. The Tauren couple were Holt and Kary Thunderhorn, both Hunter trainers of Thunder Bluff.
Roslynn was raised near Bloodhoof Village, having the open fields of Mulgore as her back yard. Every single day, Holt and Kary would tell her stories of their past, the history of Tauren, and the Earthmother. She took a very early interest in the arts of the Hunter, and so soon enough Holt and Kary started training her.
A few years later, Roslynn developed the basic skills of a hunter. She would often sneak out to try out what she has learned, though it was a little hard to get away with it when there were arrows stuck in places where they didn't belong. Year after year she would train hard, until she was old enough to venture out on her own.
Before she traveled outside of Mulgore, she couldn't help but question Holt and Kary about herself. She'd often sit nearby a lake, gazing down at her own reflection in the calm water, only wondering where she truly came from.
Holt and Kary couldn't tell her much. They knew little to nothing about Roslynn's race, except that it hasn't been long since the Sin'dorei were accepted into the Horde.
After trying to get as much information as she could, she gave the people of Thunder Bluff a slight saddened goodbye before her departure.
Exploring Azeroth and befriending beasts was exciting, but she was not use to traveling outside of Mulgore, especially on her own. Roslynn found difficulty in communicating with strangers, and was often very quiet.
It wasn't until one day when she traveled far north of the Eastern Kingdoms. She found herself wandering through Eversong Woods, which started to make her rather nervous after passing by a couple of towns. She has seen a few Sin'dorei before, but has always kept her distance, only because she had no clue what they were like, nor knew of their faith.
Another thing she lacked in experience was developing a relationship with someone. As odd as it may had seemed to others, she has given her heart to a male Tauren once. He was a kind druid, but left her to be with someone of his own race. It did hurt her quite a bit, but it wasn't too long before she got over it.
She knew she wasn't a Tauren, but she didn't feel like a Sin'dorei either.
It was a lonely experience to her. The fact is that she wanted to socialize. She hated being alone, so she'd try to make herself comfortable in Silvermoon City. Tried to make a few friends here and there, but there were people who would look at her funny whenever she tries to explain where she came from. Sometimes she wonders how she could manage if she didn't have a pet by her side, keeping her company. Some of the friends she made did not stick around for long.
Roslynn tried to cope with it anyway and departed the city for a while to explore Outland. She faced many new challenges, met new people, but it still wasn't enough. She came back to Silvermoon, spending too much time in an inn, drinking her hidden sorrows away once in a while at the bar. It was rather funny at the time, because she has never touched an alcoholic drink before, so of course she had trouble holding the amount of alcohol in her body.
She wandered the streets with little to no sense of direction, ending up in the Court of the Sun. A lovely woman was sitting on a bench, minding her own business as she was having a conversation with a few people. Roslynn watched her from a distance, listening in on the conversation with a smirk, before approching her like a drunk fool.
Roslynn was hitting on the other woman, even though that neither of them knew each other. It was pretty amusing when she looks back from that moment. Once she was growing sober, both women wandered just outside of Silvermoon City, making conversation. This was her first encounter with Malethia.
Unfortunately, they went their seperate ways for quite a while, until Roslynn ran into her again around the Walk of the Elders. Roslynn was a little depressed at the time for her own reasons, mostly the same reason she has had before even meeting Malethia. She almost forgot who Malethia was, feeling rather guilty. She was always bad with names, but she easily remembers the first time she met Malethia.
Roslynn and Malethia continued spending alot of time together, talking about each other's lives. Soon afterwards, they developed a relationship. Roslynn didn't have a home before Mulgore, until Malethia gave her one. It was true that Roslynn has never felt happier, and later, Malethia invited her to Sanctuary. She was thrilled to join, because she finally didn't crave acceptance like she used to. The members of Sanctuary accepted her, and more importantly- Malethia accepted her.
Roslynn felt that Malethia has already done so much for her. So much, that Roslynn wanted to return the favor in the greatest way she could think of. She secretly picked out a ring, and later on, she asked for Malethia's hand. They stayed engaged for a few months, and now they are officially married. It was simple and sweet, which was all Roslynn truly wanted.
