Outdoor world PvP will still be available as well and will be enhanced as it's started to be with recent patches. All of the zones in Burning Crusade will include objective PvP areas. One of those was in a lush green zone we had our first chance to get a look at today called Nagrand. Smack in the middle of the zone is a neutral town that can be captured for the Horde or Alliance. The owner of the town will have access to merchants that have items unavailable anywhere else along with some other bonuses.

My favoite part is the bombing griffons.


For instance, if the Horde holds the town, the Alliance will be able to set up griffon towers that players can use to fly across the town (on a rail) and drop bombs onto the NPC guards and enemy players. Attackers will have to aim and blast what they can quickly because defenders can run across the bridge (without dying of course) and click on the towers to knock them down.

I have the feeling they're going to make it take a lot of work, just like before.

But now your progress doesn't get set back 2 months for taking a week off.

Man... those poor Alliance. They will never know about those special items the vendors sell.

Except maybe in the middle of the night - when the moons are aligned correctly... and the farmer's bot program's direct them into the town to kill the NPCs so they can attempt to skin/mine them afterwards.

Thats the point, and currently you have to be better than everyone else to get a high warlord weapon. And it becomes more of a tangible goal, okay, I have x honor, and I need y more to get the weapon. No more waiting for tuesday to rank up.

My god. I can only hope that this brings back the pre-BG madness that I oh so love. BGS are great, but it really doesn't do much for me. Sure I get to pvp, but I miss the days when every place you went was absolutely dangerous. My adrenaline would kick in like crazy, BGS just doesn't provide that same feeling.

I hope this brings a bit of what I miss.

100% FALSE.

Right now you need to have more time than everyone else, for multiple months straight.

... whatever. You got to farm more honor than everyone else.... or really than the ten other warlords

That makes you the best at farming honor. Not the best at PvP. Two separate skills in my opinion.
