i kepe hearing about how much blood elves are better than the draenei and how no one is gunna play the draenei. I personally find the racial heal to be really kick ass. But thats just me.


ALl i hear...no matter where i look...is the same thing "BE are better cause they have AoE silence" i never hear anywhere of why the draenei are considered "sucky." Everyone just says the suck and everyone is seeming to believe it. I kinda feel liek thats how eveyrone is in WoW where ever i go. Everyone assumes this is better and the other sucks yet they never say why. It is human nature to be a follower and not a leader in which when one says one thing, many will agree and follow and never ask questions. The more that follow, the more that will do the same. Till you get a one sided opinion. Its just how we are.

If you think about it, its how WoW was in the begining, all alliance and now horde. Its that way on lots of servers, expecially teh old ones. The ratio of alliance to horde is liek 1.4:1. Everyone "assumes" alliance is better or "assumes" horde are btter. I personally believe that all races and both factions have advantages. I see WoW as a game of "rock-paper-sizzors" each race and each class has an advatage over the next. But from there, its what you make of them(such as spec, gear, etc).

So everyone assumes that blood elves are the superior new race....are they? I think they may have less physical strength then any other class and may have the most intelect. Thus making them primary casters. Which is their roll is post-WC3, pre-WoW. Bu the draenei are also good. They have knowledge in a new profession that i cant wait for and have a racial ablility to heal themselves and others. Oh....my...god!!! can u think of the cheap pvp healing they can do!!! XD


im looking forward to the expansion as well as everyone else...but im expecially looking forward to making a draenei shaman. The 1.5 cast heals+racial heal+pot(if needeD) ill be unstopable...

Honestly this is a crap arguement. Every race has atleast 1 racial that is useful no matter what class you are. In the end it would always be primarily about your class, your spec, and your gear not your race. I have never seen a situation where I felt like I lost to another person in a duel because they were race "X". I have been in plenty that I lost because I am a warrior and they are a mage, or thier level or gear was just better, etc.

I've lost against an undead mage cause they WotF'd out of my Wyvern Sting before I was able to get my Aimed Shot off...


He proceeded to root me countless times, and his stupid ice barrier held back my damage.. >.<

Let's break it down.

Rogue/Warrior: Berserking: Very useful. You have no idea how many times this has saved me. Regeneration: Comes in handy, especially when you're like me and never buy food. Bow specialization: Not so much.

Hunter: Berserking: Only really useful if you're survival specced. Regeneration: Same as above. Pretty much the same for all classes, actually. Bow specialization: Only good for level 1. And only about halfway through. Oh well.

Shaman: Berserking: Only really useful if you're enhancement. Bow spec.: Useless.

Mage: Practically nothing is good for a mage, save maybe Regeneration a little bit.

Priest: Berserking: A lot of people overlook how this can be usefull for a priest. Low on health? Slap on a PW:S, hit Berserking, and BOOM, fast heals. Yay. Others are practically useless.

So, in essence, you are correct. Just not as correct as you might like to think.

well undeads have an egde on priests racially


Dwarves have an edge in rogues racially





its all liek a game of rock-paper-sissors. But that doenst mean that a rogue cant beat a dwarf or a priest cant kill an undead, it just means they have something to their favor(racial ablilty). It sliek what i said before, their is a balance in WoW untill you get to teh part of skill, spec, and gear added to a race/class vs another race/class.

I've never lost to another person because of their race, now I do like my berezerking, its saved my butt countless times. I can slap it on and spam lesser healing wave on myself and live. But, warstomp would be awesome too, really, you can't say one race sucks just because of the racail abities on it. Its kinda like the countless "what race is best for shammy" threads there was on the shaman forms. Take your troll out for a dance, then try a cow and a greeny. Pick the one you like best and wich character you want to be. None of the abilities is gonna have that much bearing on how you play.
