For Skafloc, a work in progress

So Jeedup and I have been collaborating on a piece for Skafloc. He agreed to paint it up for me after I got stuck on the line art and I thought I'd share what we've got so far. I'm really blown away by how it looks with Jeed's shading and highlights. It just seems so alien that any part of it came from my hands...

I have this ingrained desire to crosshatch on just about every piece I do. I try and use those fancy-shmancy shiney graphic tools in Painter, but I just go: scritch scritch scritch, the old fashion way.

It works out nicely, keep doing that.

Skaf looks kinda night-elfy with that facial hair... but it still looks great.

Also I love how the eyes look, how they aren't GREAT GREEN BALLS OF FIRE! And how they look more like the BE in the BC intro movie.
