I finally did it... Last night, I hit 60 for the first time on any toon. And how did I hit 60? By riding through Silithus to go turn in a quest (that I expected to ding me), discovering a new area and... ding. How anti-climatic. :P

Find someone far enough into the tier .5 quest string to summon the boss in Dire Maul, east wing. The polearm that drops from her has a staggering +35 agility on it, making it a superior weapon to pretty much anything outside of the Warblade of the Hakkari/Fang of the Faceless dual wield combo. :)

Wow. Thanks, Kaliera. I'll definently be on the look out for that. In the mean time, though, I'm still going to go for my pair of axes. That polearm would DEFINENTLY replace them, but those axes will work great until then.

no no, Kuro. for the Agility, get two Bone Slicing Hatchets, and put +15 Agility on both. Then, wait until you can farm AQ40 on a regular basis (ha!) and get a Barb of the Sand Reaver.

Pure agility alone won't make you a good Hunter.

Plus, BSHs look nifty.

I can see Tarl's point on this, Kal. Having +10 stam for sacrificing +4 agi would be worth it. Crits are great, getting out of the thing alive is better. ^_~ However, we'd need a bit of a better group to be able to even get to him. Our only mage is presently 52 and our highest warrior is 39. >_< Until I can get there, I'm still aiming for a pair of DE's.

I can see the point, but as far as PvE is concerned, Feign Death is there to keep you from being hit at all, and for PvP, the Ice Barbed Spear is superior to both of those options due to a wonderful mix of agility, stamina, and high-end damage for the Strike+Clip combo. From what I hear though, the alliance pickup AV groups couldn't work together if their lives depended on it. *shrug* I won't be ditching my Ice Barbed Spear until Zin'rohk is available to me for PvP, and I'm going to be farming my tail off for the Huntsman's this week/weekend. :)

It may only work out to 40 hit points, but that 40 hp can mean the difference between life and death in a close situation. As for the IBS, I just keep a weapon-swap macro for when I need to pull our my spear and get physical.

I know you freaking hunters are always, "LOL0RZ LOOKIT MY DAMAEG" (Airae and Soronil would always try to flex their E-Peens in my face like that >_>), but Endgame isn't a game of "let's see how many times I can pull a Molten Destroyer off our tank before they kick me out of the raid."

As for PvP, massive damage is great, except when your Aimed Shot is interrupted by a Mortal Strike to the spleen.

I've actually been going over a few points on things like that with Alucian recently, Tarl. I've learned her "fd pattern" to make sure I dont' pull agro while still doing the damage a MM build gives. I've yet to be able to test it, though. Hopefully I'll get to soon. ^_~

You should really let Alliance hunters know about Feign Death then. Complete aggro wipes every 30 seconds allow hunters to go all out 99% of the fight as long as your tank isn't completely afk, or played by a chihuahua. Oo;

Hunter Feigns Death. Hunter Aimed Shot/Multi-Shot cycles. Aimed Shot, Multi Shot and Auto Shot all crit. Molten Destroyer goes, "RAWR, ME BRAIN MAKE GO HURTY" and moseys into your casters. Taunt resists. Casters go dead. Hunter goes, "LOL0RZ LERN 2 TANK NUBWAFFLE"". Hunter gets kicked.
