I've been thinking and would like to sponsor an idea i've had. It will likely come to fruition in a month or so to give people time to get bikes made.
This is a bike only race with a maximum limit of 15 horde and 15 alliance. The purse is 2500g (From my pocket) to the victor. I have yet to set up a course with acceptable check points.
What I would need are volunteers to be at the checkpoints and make sure each rider hits everyone before they finish. Miss a checkpoint and it means you cheated, so no win.
Arrangements would be made to xfer the gold on the neutral AH for an alliance winner. So far it's just 2500g to first place, I have yet to decide on 2nd , 3rd, and 4th place prizes(If I decide, or get any ideas on what they could be). If this becomes a large scale idea I would be glad to take donations to increase the purses.
This race will likely BEGIN being organized in about 1-2 months to give a great enough time span to let people get bikes as they are still quite rare.
Any feedback is welcome! Also, if you win as alliance you have to come alone into Thralls chamber to collect your prize! Okay.. maybe the neutral AH will have to suffice..
