Why?

Is it annoying as hell, yes! ESPECIALLY if a Paladin does it. Tough to get them down from there.

But he...ya know...climbed a wall. Big whoop. Anyone can do it, apparently. He didn't use a hack or exploit. There was this same sort of reaction over people falling off a wall onto a ledge....which anyone could do.

i just find it annoying and so i hate them... it is an exploit... it's a terrain exploit, they are using bad mapping to get an advantage. i don't think it should be tolerated...

He wasn't SUPPOSED to be attacking. He has the Horde flag.

However, can't you just jump up there after him? Or Blind him. that'll make him jump down.

blind was on cooldown... i just had a warlock go in and dot the shit out of him. it's not the point though, i just thought it was lame. especially a douche in tier 2 gear. i probably over reacted a bit with the whole thing, but the BG was just going shitty and that was the straw that broke the camel's back.

that should go for you horde as well. Every damn time an alliance player does that single exploit or anything else, horde get all pissy and go rant on them on the boards. yet i never see anyone saying anythign about the hordes 4-5 places to exploit. Why is that?

Either way, I've seen Alliance do this several times. I have never seen a Horde player use the wallclimbing crap. Actually, I never see Horde flag carriers go into our flag room when we don't have our flag, unless they're just running through it.

Either way I doubt anyone on the forums uses said exploits.

Y'know, I really wish they would fix the dodgy terrian in Warsong. I used to love WSG until on my old server I was really quite wrongfully accused of exploiting, just for playing a good game. I really hurt me and it was dragged all over the offical forums. I am aware (I think) of the terrian explot they referred to, and I was nowhere near it and was consistenly attacked by alliance each time I had the flag. I just moved around and changed my location a lot. Of course nobody had a screen shot, because it didn't happen.

What you have posted is clearly a terrian explot, and a well known one, but for the sake of the innocent I wish they would fix things. I am really tired of people calling hax whenever they can't find the flag carrier, or lose a match through nothing but thier own ineptitude. It kinda makes me scared to go near the flag anymore.

i found a 5th one tonight lol.

want me to name them of get pictures of the locations?...
-the logs below horde GY behind the hut
-above the arch leading to the horde GY outside
-above the arch leading to GY inside
-Above the arch leading to roof
-atop the cattlepult thingy outside in the front


so seem to be an easy "jump 'n walk" technique but still, your at a location where no one can get to you and its dont seem ment tto be done.



and yes, i have tried to take an initiative, but sadly, i am only one voice and there needs to be more. Then if you read my post where it says will anyone do anytrhing about it, i say never....andits true. I cant figth the war alone, gotta have an army to do it :-/

You seem to be defending Maked's actions simply because you saw the Horde do something similar once. How is that fair to the members of the Horde who had were in that battleground at that particular time and had nothing to do with any previous instance of cheating?

Ditto on that. I've never actually witnessed any Alliance using an exploit, but I have seen Horde doing it, and I've reported it, even if we were "winning" because of it.

I don't understand this way of thinking. It's not just you, Cedes, it's alot of people.

"Doesn't seem meant to be done?" On what do you base this criteria?

"They're doing something creative that makes them difficult to kill, therefore it's an exploit."

By that line of thinking...

Rogues should never stealth in BGs because you can't see them.

Paladins should never bubble in BGs because you can't hurt them.

No one should be allowed to use potions in BGs because it gives them an insane advantage (immunity to stuns/slows, very fast speed, etc...) over people who don't use them.

I haven't encountered this first hand, but I've read posts about this many months ago. Many people posted that the solution to these people standing on the archway was simple...ranged attack. They're sitting ducks once spotted. I believe this is why Blizzard hasn't changed this terrain after being aware of it for at least 6 months now.
