((my roommate begged me to revive my warrior who, in fact, I have missed even though she was a lvl 70 death knight. So after a flip of a coin I had her revived and replaced (her dk self) by an orc named, Lodas Grimsoul, now that she is a warrior again. After an unfortunate reaping of her soul by the Lich King, here is her bizarre, yet quick, story of rebirth. Oh no, i see errors!! oh well, I tired! lol))
After months of brutal training in Outland in preperation for the war in the north, Lyzoria heads to the Ice Crown Vally. Setting up at the Ebon stronghold, Lyzoria and the other Death Knights are brought to a hearing to address the current situation. A voice rises up from the crowd and barks orders to the living dead as the knights stand ready and stiff as a mountain as the dead defying cold winds blow by howling with terror.
"The order's are as follows: The Argent Dawn is to move northward from the south and past the southern gate. We are to intersect with them at the north gate and proceed to the western gate at the Citadel. You will be split up into three groups and will be required to eliminate anything that thirsts for your blood. Move out now!"
Lyzoria is the only orc female in the army. Quite a small army at that as they seem more like back-up. If the thought of isolation wasn't too severe yet then Lyzoria has nothing to worry about. Yet, she continues to feel missed placed like a little girl caught in the middle of an unknown village. She wants to dearly to return to her clan but she knows she could never be one of "them" anymore.
She walks off with her head leaned down and arms wrapped around her body. A banshee notices who the lonesome orc girl is.
"My child, what disturbs you?"
Lyzoria studders and turns."D-do you ever feel....I mean, do you ever wonder if you-im sorry"
The Banshee smiles."No no child, it is alright...you see, I still feel and think very well. What is your question?"
Lyzoria takes a breath and looks around for open ears then talks.
"Do you ever wonder if you could-"
"-Could go back?" replies the Banshee. "There is a such way Lyzoria."
Lyzoria's eyes light up in a bright glow."You know who I am? how?!"
The banshee laughs."Hehe, you are the lost child. Before I was set free I used to talk about you with the others. See, we were all connected and our thoughts were one. We cried when he took you from your people. You had so much and he took it all away....and for a second we remembered, faintly, what it was like to have our life taken."
Lyzoria ponders. "Is there a away to go back? you said there was."
"yes. There is a one who has the power of rebirth. He can be found in the tomb of the makers."
Lyzoria jumps. "where?! if that up in the mountains?!"
"Yes, there you will find the ones of earth and stone. You must find the portal between this world and the next. There you will find the one who has the power. He bares the name of the ancient gods....but there is a catch."
Lyzoria raises an eyebrow. "Catch, what catch?"
"You must slay him"
Her jaw drops. "SLAY A GOD?!"
"...yes"
The thought of disbelief sweeps across her face. "And where is this 'god?'"
The banshee smiles and she fades away. "Follow the path to the ancient lands and seek out the traveling heroes. They will help you find the way as they too seek answers that they seek questions to"
The bashee fanishes into then air as Lyzoria leeps forward to grab her. "Damn you fow beast! how am I suppost to know who to ask?!"
Lyzoria collects her thoughts as the Death Knights head out for another attack on the scourge. Just as the marsh on Lyzoria sneaks away into the hillside. Moments later she is confronted by a wondering paladin.
Yehvon: *raises his hand and charges a holy shock* "and where do you think you are going hellish feind!"
Lyzoria bows in pitty. "IM ON YOUR SIDE!! IM ON YOUR SIDE!!!"
Yehvon lowers his arm with a slight look of disappointment on his face. "...oh. Well, why are you here and...not *points* there? has the little sheep lost her way?"
Lyzoria explains the bizzare story and her quest of rebirth. Yehvon responds:
"HAHA, you expect me to believe a story such as that?! Has this "power" cause you to go mad?!"
Lyzoria: "Its true, I sware to it! and what use are you, you are just in my way!" *shoves the horse our of her way*
Yehvons ponders as she walks away. "wait a minute you-...um, "girl." I have orders to attend to up there to the east. I can take you to the crash site atop a mountain. I cant promise a safe trip but It will take you to exactly where you need to go. My Caravan flies up there... *gives paper with directions*....from here. Give it to them and you will have clearance. I, on the other hand, have personal matters to attend to to the Citadel. Word has it that there is a secret underneath the Citadel that may lead to the Lich King's defeat."
Yehvon bows gracefully to Lyzoria. "Fairwell my lady, my the Light shine brightly over the cloud of darkness that has swept your body away as you travel to find your lost soul. Safe travels!"
*Yehvon rides off and disappeares into the snowy abyss.*
6 hours later, atop the mountains at the crash sight south of Ulduar. Lyzoria see's travelers regrouping and moving from peak to peak a board flying mounts. Being ignored Lyzoria calls out.
"Does anyone know where I can find this titan god king? *pauses* ....anyone?"
A grunt calls out. "You mean that one who has powers beyond this world? its not a titan....it aint no "HE" neither....its a dragon."
Lyzoria gasps. "A dragon?"
The Grunt nods. Yes, you can find it a thw Wyrmcrest temple. But I hear a few of them are flying here to that ulda-whatever place...i dont know, I just work here.
Lyzoria's face lights up in happiness. "Who can take me to Ulda- um...*points north* Who can take me there!?"
The grunt sighs.
Just then, an undead scientist approaches Lyzoria.
He asks: "You said it was a dragon you seek, but you said the word titan, correct?"
Lyzoria nodes.
"But why would it be a titan. THe bashee you speak of would know this since she told you everything else. She must of know that it really was a dragon....but what of a titan king? There is no king just giants and...dragons with crown like horns!"
Lyzoria looks confused. "Just tell me what is the meaning of all this? was that banshee crazy...wait, how did you know it was a banshee?"
"Easy, only they would say something so mystical that an orc would believe it."
Lyzoria bites her tung.
"See, its like this. In "slaying a titan" you are left with the question of which one, right? that means you have to keep killing these stone giants till you find "the one," right? well that would eliminate them. That must mean there are a threat to the Lich King. And to seek help and direction from traveling heroes means us telling you that its not titans but the dragons. In slaying a dragon means an imbalance in the univserse which turns the tides towards the Lich King which *drops half jaw*...interesting."
"......what in the hell?"
"Look, these stone beings have this theory that they will rise up with the titans, or as the titans, and recreate the planet into darkness. The Lich King would be gone and so would everything else. So that means We need to stop that, but the dragons can stop Arthas, which means he must want them eliminated too. And I bet he wants the makers powers so HE can recreate this world in his own image. OH MY!"
"....I just want my body back, where is the dragon you....insane dead man, thing?"
"You are the greatest death knight EVER!" *runs off talking to himself thinking of planes to doom*
Grunt enters after over hearing the conversation. "No believe in him, he weird. Dragons make you strong again and Lich king wont get power, nor will giants gain power. Horde will stop this making think, you'll see. Go, take the mount and fly off, I hear the dragons are there now."
Moments later, at the edge of the clift looking upward to Ulduar, Lyzoria meets up with Achirzanias in Human form.
"Where is this dragon, I need him?"
"I am he who you seek, Lyzoria."
"Shouldn't you be....you know."
"Ah, but I am."
Just them a bolt of lightning strikes the hillside behind them as casts a shadow over their bodies. As Lyzoria looks she see's the shadow of a giant ancient dragon unknown to her behind the man.
"What are you?..."
"I am what you said I am, a dragon." *he smiles*
"Then you must know."
"Yes, I do. No need to cry out child, I know what pain is in your heart. Here *gives her a ring* wear this on your finger and return to Orcgrimmar. There You should rest and I will have you summoned later."
"Orgrimmar?! are you insane?!! I need help now!!!"
Just as the words flew from her lips she was swept away by a drake and sent back to Orgrimmar in a flash. There she appeared in the streets covered in snow completely alienated from everyone else. Then a voice calls out in her head.
"I had someone wisp you away. You could say you were teleported but I think that is a bit slow to travel so far, dont you think? Oh yeah, one more thing, get some rest and call me in the morning, doctor's orders!"
The voice fades away and Lyzoria is left in silence. Eyes watch her every move and people begin to wonder where she came from or if she is a threat. Guards are called over and in an instant, Lyzoria flees to a friends house as the snow blows in the wind and melts away.
After hours of searching for her, the guards have given up. This calls for a moment of rest, Lyzoria thinks to herself. She lays down to sleep and continues to dream for the rest of the night.
The following morning Lyzoria awakens to an empty house. She rises up out of bed with her hair all nappy. She feels as if she hasn't slept in years or has been lost in a dream for days. She walks over to wash her face in the bowl and notices nothing. Nothing is glowing, nothing is pail, nothing is...wrong. She reminds motionless until the water is still and calm enough to reflect her face like a mirror.
"My...eyes." She pauses. "MY EYES!!!!"
She cheers as jumps for joy regardless if her death knight armor is gone or not she jumps naked in joy! then a sudden vioce appears to her.
"No need to thank me, Im just a messanger. If you see a drake posing as a human girl then she is to thank for your gift. Oh, and that ride as well as *cough* that ring...Ill be needing that back and a gift. Hold on to it until you meet me again at the Wyrmcrest Temple. Chao!"
Life is good, Lyzoria thinks to herself. She touches her body and still has a hard time believeing that it is really hers again. Even the taste of hunger in her mouth exists, smells are there warmth on her skin is even there too. But it appears to Lyzoria that something is there too. The feeling of hunger is exceeding to desire of food.
Lyzoria smiles. "Even my blood rage is back....and its been so long that the hunger is intensifying. *she ponders for a second* ...there's always a catch..."
Back at Storms Peak Lord Itharius meets up with Achirzanias. Disappointed and upset, Itharius spills out his anger on the event just past.
"Took you a day to arrive has it? slowing down? age got you held back?"
"...you know she isnt going to like this. We are not suppost to play with the mortals."
"That wasnt play, I was only helping her. She needed our help, thats where we are working with them so I talked to my people and got something worked out."
"You're not even suppost to be here!"
"Well I am so deal with it!"
*a roar echo's over the hillsides*
"You are part of the wyrmcrest accord, not some...GENIE!"
"who said I granted the wish, I did nothing...Like I said, I talked to my people and got a deal done."
"....you have no people."
"Oh get over it. Plus she kinda cute in a green...muscular sort of way. Maybe if you we're so whiped by Alexstrasza you could get you some of that nice a-"
"ENOUGH! if Alexstrasza or the Lich King finds out about this it will be your head. Our powers are not to be abused and if the Lich King gets his hands on us it will be the end of this planet. Come."
In a moment, both are swept away in the wind like a leaf from a tree.
That night Lyzoria gazed into the stars and reflected on her experiences. Though she appears to be normal again, the thoughts and memories of her life in these past months will remain as scares on her soul. She lays there with a single light lit and the clouds cover the night sky. In that moment she closes her eyes and dreams only one dream that night, she dreams of happiness, a feeling she hasn't felt in a long, long time.
After months of brutal training in Outland in preperation for the war in the north, Lyzoria heads to the Ice Crown Vally.
