Emmelié also has a couple of tattoos. One is of a large dragon that covers her back, it's wings spread over her shoulder blades. She also has her brother's name in ancient, scrolling text across her heart.

Special Abilities: Sporadic healing.

Personality: Emmelié was properly nicknamed The Mantis. She's a ruthless woman who has not a fear in the world. She will enter a fight even if there is no chance of survival and when she is revived, she gets back up and tries again. Filthy rich with a taste for power, Emmelié was born into an elite family and she has no shame in flauting it. The rogue daughter with no problem stooping to any lows to achieve the goals she sets. She's mysterious in her ways and mannerisms, only giving people enough information to keep them guessing. In her eyes, she is authority, she makes up her own mind, and she will not change for anyone. Stubborn and sometimes out right cruel, Emmelié also has a more alluring side. Her low, sensual voice and elegant demeanor captures the attention of everyone she comes into contact with. Like a serpent, Emmelié mystifies her prey until they are reduced to menions. She's highly intelligent with a sharp mind and an eye for the future. Ambition leads her sometimes, her intentions always a little twisted. However, despite how malicious she may be, Emmelié is very eloquent and well mannered while in conversation. She knows how to talk her way into and out of any situation and she does well. When she wants, she recieves and that suits her just fine.

Misc. Quirks: Emmelié always wears a mask covering her face. It is doubtful anyone would ever have the oppourtunity to see what she looks like underneath.

History: Emmelié was born into a Revered family of Priests who consulted with Kael'Thas himself. She was raised under a strict roof, her parents keen on her education and training with the light. Emmelié had always had a tenacious soul, the heart of a warrior, though her parents disapproved of her becoming a warrior, they opted for a stronger, yet still Light yeilding class; The Palladin. She was skilled with a blade, lithe and graceful with her dodges and parries. Yet she was not a light bearer at heart, she only continued her training only to please her family.

Born also into the Darkewood family was young Emmett. Such a young, curious child, always getting into this and that. He had the true heart of a Palladin, though young and still full of all the wonder childhood possessed, Emmett was always the most noble. Emmelié treasured her sibling, the only innocent thing she had ever known. Even in her own fairly young age, Emmelié had seen far too much to still possess any innocence. She had always been very well educated... in and outside of the Academy. One evening, while their parents had stepped out to consult with the Magisters, Emmelié ventured deep within the forest. Emmett was supposed to have been watched by his nurse, was supposed to have been asleep... Yet his insatiable curiousity led him into the forest behind his sister...

Emmelié could hear the screams from where she stood, the shrill, terrified screams of a child. Her heart dropped to her feet, which were already running at top speed towards the source. A tall, gangly creature held her brother's torso within it's talons, it's red eyes illuminating it's blood soaked smile. Emmelié screamed once, twice, before she could even make a move. Removing her blade from it's sheath on her back, she lashed out blindly at the creature, tears staining her cheeks, mixing with blood. The Wretched fell at her feet, still gurgling for breath. Emmelié took what strength she could muster to find all she could of Emmett... to have something to bury.

Emmelié aquired the nickname Gremily while still in the Academy. Many of the children called her this behind her back, and though they thought she didn't hear, she was well aware of their snide comments. However, instead of making her angry, it brought a smile to her face. Emme had always taken pride in being the outcast because the beauty of it was, they knew only what they assume. Emmelié, however, could recite to someone entire conversations of her peers, recall their full names, dates of birth. She was always observing, listening, but never approaching. Even as a young woman, she was intimidating and far too ambitious than most children.

As she grew older, more mature, so did her desire for power... of any sort. She had been in and out of relationships, never finding the right satisfaction. Her parents, seeing her restlessness with men, thought to find a man for her. This, however, was the worst idea they had ever had. Seeing as she and her parents had never once agreed on anything, they could have, in no way, got her taste in men correct. His name was Remney, a boisterous, loud, bumbling fellow with the strong stench of scotch on his breath, though only when not in the presence of her parents. No, around them he was the quiet, sensitive listener with the most golden smile any man could ever possess. Of course Emmelié refused but seeing as in her parent's beliefs, they arranged these sorts of things, she had to at least try. They were wed inside Silvermoon City, a huge spectacle made of the event. The marriage was well played by two very good actors, neither of them having any feelings for the other. Remney wanted her money and Emmelié just wanted him dead. Her window of oppourtunity came when she arrived home from a long stay inside Stormwind and found her beloved husband lying in bed with a beautiful woman she was sure worked for the Bank inside Silvermoon. Never once did she shed a tear, there was no broken heart. Instead, with a smile on her face, she removed his head clean off his shoulders, thus aquiring the nickname, The Mantis.

Emmelié's life changed the day she heard the news of Arthas' return. Her mother had all but withered in their old age, having survived the first scourage attacks and watched her only surviving offspring graduate from the Academy and leave to further her training. She returned to them on the day of Arthas' return and bid her mother farewell, leaving her in tears. She did not tell exactly of her plans and left with a whispered good bye as she closed the door behind her. Not a month after her depature, Emmelié caught wind of her mother's passing. Emmelié fought through dangerous lands, battled the strongest alliance, but she prevailed and found her way to Arthas himself, bowing before him without a word or explanation. Arthas accepted her and she watched him closely, learning and bettering herself. She was suited to be a Death Knight, having the determination to get the job done and the ruthlessness to get the job done well.

Currently Emmelié is founder and leader of the guild Occupo Nox Noctis. Anté is at her right hand and she is quick to go to him with an idea or question. Emmelié chose Anté long before the Noctis was established. He had proven himself to her in their earlier days under Arthas' rule. Dark and malicious, just as she, Emme knew Anté was the one. Even before she denounced her legion to Arthas, Emme has a plan formulating in her mind and she knew she could not carry out her desires alone. She earned his trust and together they have wreaked their havoc over Eastern Kingdoms, Kalimdor, and the Outlands. Next they will take Northrend but this time they will have an entire dark army behind them.

The following letter is found in a ditch, covered by snow in Icecrown Glacier. The letter is soaking wet, due to the cold and harsh weather and is set to be delivered to the Undermine, for processing as quickly as possible. The contents of the letter are as follows.

Undermine Interview Committee

Field Report No. 36710
Failed Interview No. 18402
Alibar Mal'adeus Ressan, in regards to Emmelié Darkewood

Interviewer: Gitriz Cogwhistle
Location of Attempted Interview: The Horde Zeppelin, Orgrim's Hammer (At the time, in flight over Icecrown Glacier)

__________________________________________________ __

To whomever it may concern,

At the time, Alivar Ressan (Highlord of his Respective House) was unavailable for comment. Our team had landed on the Horde Vessel, Orgrim's Hammer at precisely 19:40, on the first eve of Winter's Veil. Contact was made with the Highlord Ressan approximately three minutes later (due to the exceptional intelligence gathering resources of my son Roxzig Cogwhistle, I may add).

Sadly, Highlord Ressan seems to.. have a penchant for jumping off extremely high altitudes and at the time of attempted contact, had jumped to the snowy terrain below Orgrim's Hammmer at a height of around 2,500 meters.

Subsequently, our teams head intelligence resource gatherer, Roxzig Cogwhistle had followed him. While it is unknown if Highlord Ressan had survived the overwhelmingly large drop, Roxzig did not, as his body was found, mauled by a rather large bear, several hours later. At the time of Roxzig's plummet and subsequent demise, it is worth noting that witnesses report that he had allegedly yelled the following:

"Tell my wife I said hello!"

Sadly, with the loss of our head intelligence resource gatherer, we fly to our next target. Please send Roxzig's wife, Fiana Cogwhistle, her ex-husband's, as well as my own regards.

Yours truly,
Gitriz Cogwhistle

*Sighs from hammering his weapons, trying to fine tune them, and make sure they are up to date, when a goblin moves infront of him repeating a question he has said to many and thrusting a picture in his face, " Ah...The woman close to the fire... I have seen her before...She apears to be a interesting woman... A bit dark and mysterious... But interesting indeed.... Perhaps even lonely...Judging by how much bourbon she was gulping down.... I managed to keep her from collasping into the fire...I hope I do not have to see her there again so close... I do hope to meet her again... Now begone while I finish my work..."He resumes hammering, the goblin trotting off.*

She is one of the few people I've met since my return to Silvermoon, and a competent robot-slayer. We had quite a "helling" adventure.

"I think this woman is questionable, at best. Someone who makes for a completely new existence simply for the sake of spying on another?

It seems... so obscene."

Passing to the opposite side of the room and picking up a jade figurine, he holds it up for you to see.

"She's much like this statuette. Do you know why? Well, DO YOU?"

He waits for a response. None comes.

"Then you don't deserve to know at all."
