TN PvP (( Ideas ))

I don't know about anyone else, but I would really enjoy some RP based world PvP. Bear with me.

I know some people will think that this sounds stupid, but I went to something like it once (The Arathi Highlands raid) and it was awesome! Perhaps a miniature war in the Wetlands, say the Horde want access to the boats, or the Alliance kicking around Camp Taurajo to cut of communications or whatnot.

Sure, you wouldn't impact the server as we know it, but some good RP - PvP would be great!

Chingaso has "hosted" two world PvP events this summer. Watch the Horde Discussions forum for future events as I generally share these with TNG (although last Friday was Grim only).

On a side note....the peeps at ED are thinking about putting together 5v5 team matches all over world pvp. You put together a team and fight it out with the best of the best. Its a pretty simple idea, and we can host it anywhere really.

I used to play on Emerald Dream. One of the Horde guilds would regularly host an event called "War Bands," which is probably what Sanrin is alluding to. Basically, a zone is selected at random and groups of five wander around, killing each other. This prevents the usual camp-fest when two 40-man raids go head-to-head. They were big fun, but as with any public PvP event, ultimately devolved into complete and utter chaos (which isn't a bad thing).

I'm hosting some upcoming world RP-PvP events for the Decimators. If everything goes well, I'd love to expand upon it and open it up to more cannon fodd... um... participants.
