Don't count DC an rp guild, because as of this afternoon I was told by the officers, and my husband, that not only are there NO roleplayers who are good at pvp, but any chance of them roleplaying any time soon is slim to none, because they want to be pvpers, and .. as previously stated, no one who pvp's well, rps.

On top of which, I have been busting my balls, staying up late and getting up early, to catch up with them.. and I can't do it, because every single time I get within 10 levels, they power ahead and leave me in the dust.


Its pretty fustrating, to say the least, because I -want- to pvp and play with them.. and it just feels like they won't give me the chance.


So in my fustration, I come to you and ask: If I delete Sinda and reroll a night elf priest, will you accept me? I need to know, before I do it.. because even thinking about playing on the opposite side of my husband makes me want to start crying all over again.

I will warn you though, that now that the new server fever is over, there's usually only 3 or 4 of us on at any given time. It's an alt guild, and I think a lot of people have either gone back to their mains, or have left the TNG guild for "non-alt" guilds.

And anyone who thinks someone who RP's automatically sucks at PVP is a moron.

As far as the level grinding goes... they'll hit 60 eventually, and then you'll be able to catch up :)

I fail to see the connection between being good at PvP and being an RP-er.


In fact, some of the best PvP-ers I have seen, on this server, Venture Co or my old PvP server Dragonmaw have been RP-ers.


That's just ignorance!


Perhaps they don't want to take the time to RP because they need all the practice they can get in order to stay competitive with those who have the skill and talent to be able to both rp and pvp?

I couldn't do it.. I chicken'd out when I went to hit the delete button on Sinda.

What I did do, was remind my husband of our time in MECH when we still played "the realm" ;) He took his statememt of "RPers suck at PVP" back, and has since gone balls out, trying to revive the military-style rp that MECH brought to him. .. sure, we're not gonna rp ourselves as cyborgs.. but I got the point across ;)

Ack! Sinda hit 30? Justice has gone on to 40 and hasn't yet seen her in a BG. Heh. I can go and whomp on your guildies though. I run with a fairly close knit PUG since there are very few Alliance up at that level beyond Crucial as a guild.

...And Crucial as a guild? Bleh.

Yea, we pretty much walk over Crucial on a minute to minute basis.. And although they have a "few" nice people (Sepheus played with a couple of them on AoS, like Bofa, who's in our vent all the time ... bastards >.<) the majority of them are as bad in pvp as they are life skills ;p...and the only other pvp guild group from horde that que's regularly is Vae Victus (who by the way are 10000000000 time worse then Abusive can be when it comes to roleplaying) so If you see them, shove the pvp down their throats ;p

Yea, I'm 10 levels behind the core of our guild, cause I rerolled from a Mage to a Priest after 15 levels ;p I've already got a 60 mage, and wanted to try something new. I'm working on catching up still.. and I got Awkar (gralin) to let me re-instate the roleplaying ;p

I'll TRY and get 40 so I can pvp with you!.. specialy since i'm solo queing at the moment *grumbles about pugs*
