In the 3rd week of April, during a late and gay College spring break, i grinded night and day from lvl 57 to lvl 60. By sunday, at 11pm somethiung, i hit it. A week or so later i kinda found myself wondering...what now?

I ended up quitting wow and then came back in mid May. I joined back with Epug, what a great day it was and found a new guild. The summer when by, i ranked fast, earned my spot in IFR and then around lat June as trying to hit Marshal was taking Forever due to work, i started to think, What next?

Slowly but surely i was gunna hit MArshal before college started. Then it hit me liek a ton of bricks, "I dont wanna do this anymore." I had completely lost intrest in the game. So i eneded my PvP. The same week i was plaining to leave PvP i started to set up my exit from WoW as i would be taking a long vacation.

Events happened, drama exploded and things got out of hand. Now everyting is in order. My grind is done, peace is back and everythign is gravy :D. Now i start to think about PvE. I say " well, i can either attemp it, or not. The fact is, i dont like it but the option is there..." What happens once i get the little ger i care about in raid instances to aid me in my spec? What do i do now that im not in PvP and once i finish in PvE?

I decided that i may soon leave WoW till the expansion. Ive been done with everything for 5 days now. And ive played about 10hrs total in those 5 days. I have no desire to make a new charact and play to 60 much. Dont feel like going on that long road unless i have a RL friend to join me or someone i know good here in TN.

So this is kinda a "my task is complete" deal. I think i might stay in WoW and do somethings from time to time and play by a game card and not my debt card. Thinking of going back to City of heroes/ Cy of villians for a bit. I miss my hero and villian, they were master pieces of work.

 *scratches head* this gives me an idea for a new thread. What did everyone do before or what they do do outside of wow...

I felt the same way when I hit 60. For most people 60 is the beginning of their game, they raid and raid and raid and have a blast. I'm just not wired for that kind of gaming so Danlily hit 60 and retired. Nothing for me to do but start a new character and gonna wait to do that when the expansion comes out.

Well, you have to do something first... before you think you like it or not.

How to like it? Find people you enjoy playing with and what suits your time.

Can't find it? Keep trying.

Found it and didn't like it? Well, time to play another game. Don't feel bad about it - nobody here is sleeping with you; so go out and find another interest.

Or, god forbid, go kayaking or something. Get some sun, winter is approaching faster than you think - get your skin cancer while you can!

Abric's right, you should try it and see if you like it first. You might enjoy getting into the raiding scene. You might find people to raid regularly with and enjoy that.

And if not, see ya at expansion launch. :D

well the #1 reason why i was leaving in the first place was college. Then as i became to prepare to leave and end my grind something happend. It all just came to a dead stop before i was actually supost to stop.

I wanna keep going and play from time to time. I did find a guild that i could work with that goes great with my college and work. But even with them ill be concidered like half as active as the next person. Dont know if ill join, all the little wow time ill have will go towards helping my brother in wow so who knows :-/

I wouldnt ever wanna leave, ive established myself here a bit. horde know me, alliance know me. I got many people i know and talk too on both sides on vent. I have good times and good memories here. Hate to just say "cya later, gotta go to college *deletes account*"

It's like a friend of mine says..

levels 1-59 are the tutorial, 60 is when the game actually beings.

I hope he's right, cause I'm only 57 now, lol.

yeah, thats why i cant see myself lvling up again lol. But i do play my lvl 18 shammy from time to time. Ill get that cow to 60 eventually, or work on a draenei instead.

I see no one has hit the pvp grind liek i have. So its kinda hard for you all to be in my shoes and understand what being burnt out to a point when you cant even click on the wow icon on your desktop anymore.

On the contrary.

I ground PVP into dust, a month or so back. I just started to get the beginning symptoms, and realised it wasn't fun anymore. So I took a break.

Bought Oblivion. Played for a week. After that week, I got right back on WoW, and PvP was once again, fun.

You just have to catch yourself before you're burnt out.

oh i caught myself pretty good. But it did hit me for like a week. I was doing pvp from non till 4am each day. One meal a day, little sleep, etc. I eventually just gave out(which was on a friday). Thats when i told myself to just forget it. I was more concerned about hitting marshal and stoping then actually achieve that rank for the epics. Then on that friday, i just gave up.

Ill pick back up on it. Im slowly starting too, but college is coming in 23 days so their wont be any full time wow playing for me.

after 3 months of non stop playing, it does feel nice to like play wow when ever i feel like it and stop when ever i feel liek it. Like i can go all day and not play and dont have to worry about honor anymore, i love it lol.

Xeran hit 60 a while back. I was in the raiding scene before on my old 60. Meh. I got burned out and basically stopped playing all together. I did the PvP grind on my Tauren warrior (not for rank but AV rep). I also did the grind on Xeran for rank. It can get boring as hell.

Recently, I've been playing a lot on Thorium Brotherhood. It's an RP server. I've noticed fewer PvP kiddie asshats there. Granted, contested zones aren't as "exciting," but the existence of fewer asshats is a fair trade-off IMHO. And I can PvP in battlegrounds so it's not like there's no PvP action when I want it.

I'm also arranging to get a new PC so I can play Elder Scrolls: Oblivion. My current one is a piece of junk and can't handle it, appearently.
