He sniffed once. He sighed as his feet touched the ground. It was still bright out and the light reflected off the snow making it much worse. His eye could barely make out what was on the ground in front of them but he knew. He kneeled closer placing his hand on the dead furbolg's back. He let out another sigh as he started digging up the ground nearby.

The furbolg now buried in the cold ground. He patted the ground lightly once and closed his eyes quietly saying something in druidic for the fallen furbolg. Barke turned to his frostsaber. "Think we c'n find 'em." The frostsaber nodded like it understood and the two slowly made their way through Winterspring to a small furbolg camp.

---------------------------------

The sun was down. It was much darker making it easier for Barke to see. He watched the empty camp as he absently scratched at his frostsabers neck. He heard them first. They sounded like an army even though there was only 4 of them. They came into view a short moment later heading for the camp he was watching. He grinned as they started setting up the camp for the night.

He nudged the sleeping frostsaber waking it up, "Tha's 'em." The saber got up looking down at the camp from their perch up on the mountain. Barke grinning giving it another pat before unsheathing Silent Fang and Mirah's Song. "Someday we'll 'ave teh ge' a name yeh like." He winked at the cat and took off down the mountain.

He ran silently down the slope to the camp. He reversed he grip on Silent Fang and leaped off towards the camp twisted through the air. He landing lightly on the shoulder of one of the white haired furbolgs hooking Silent Fang's tip where the neck and head meet. He pushed the blade easily up through the neck and head causing the blade to come out the top of its skull. Before the creature could even register what happened he let go of the blade and leaped towards the next closest one. He twisted his body sideways bringing Mirah's Song slashing down atop the next furbolg's head. The purple glow of the blade brightened as it cut through down the middle of the creature splitting its mouth in two and gutting it.

He hopped back avoiding the furbolg's insides as they fell out of the furbolg's body. He reached down pulling Silent Fang free of the first corpse as he ducked under a wild swing made by the other furbolg. He heard a loud crash behind him. He did not need to glance back. His armored frostsaber had landed atop the other furbolg and now bit its large fangs into the poor furbolg and was holding fast. Barke spun on his heel ducking low again as the furbolg in front of him took another swing. As Barke spun around he cut Mirah's Song left splitting the furbolg's paw to its forearm. It howled in pain taking a step back away from him. Barke flipping Silent Fang so he was holding it normal again and thrust the tip of the white glowing blade into the furbolg's knee. He felt the blade hit the joint and twisted the sword quickly. There was a loud popping noise as the knee seperated and Barke spun again using the force from the spin to pull the blade free from the creatures leg. The blade came free pulling out bone and muscle with it. He spun back the other way as the furbolg started to fall bringing his other sword around. He slashed up and across cutting easily into the neck and jaw. The furbolg was dead when it hit the ground.

Barke sighed kneeling down beside his victim. He found a small flask of firewater on it and popped the cork drinking it. He smiles tossing the empty flask to the side. That brought back memories. He turned his attention to his saber as she padded slowly to him. He smiled again taking a piece of cloth off of the furbolg's corpse.

"Yeh go' yerself all co'ered in blood." He chuckled as he wiped the blood off the cats white fur.

"And you killed those four for more then taking their belongings." A voice came from behind him.

Barke did not pause what he was doing, "Found one o' yers dead neh too far from 'ere an' these were the ones tha' did i'. So Ah though' Ah would get them back fer i'." He smiled but did not turn towards the voice.

Barke felt the furbolg nod and shuffle its weight slightly, "I did not think you were going to return to this area. Felwood, Moonglade and Winterspring. But then I heard about your brothers fall and since there have been quite a few dead bodies turning up everywhere. You killed them?"

"Yeh know tha' answer alreadeh." He shrugged lightly tossing the blood soaked cloth to the side.

"You killed the last of you blood. Then the last of you clan. Even the one that led them after you left." The voice was on edge.

"I' was too la'e fer meh brothers...ah saved who ah could from the clan. The tauren 'ad what was comin' teh 'im. Nothin' good came from tha' one." He finally stood up turning to face the grey haired furbolg. "Le' the animals eat these ones." Barke gave his frostsaber a pat and finished the campfire the dead furbolgs were working on.

The furbolg sat next to the fire opposite of Barke, "Your brothers were good. They took care of everything when you...left. They will be missed."

Barke stared across at the furbolg. His eyes showing sadness for the subject for once, "Aye they were. Bu' ah could neh save 'em. Was too la'e...they were too far gone." He let out a sigh as he scratched his sleeping frostsabers neck gently.

"Barke...remember when..." The furbolg laughed before setting into the story.
