I just realized that we are weeks away from the 1 year anniversary of the server (can't remember exact date, late Aug/early Sep for sure).

Maybe that calls for another Shindig??

If I recall correctly, they released TN the next day, after the first two RP-PvP servers were flooded.

So thats Sep 13th then.

Well, more time to go still than I thought. Even so, its never too early to get some planning started on one heeluva blowout..

TN was released on the same day as the other two...only a few hours later. I know because I got home a few hours after the announcement and was toggling between Maelstrom and Emerald Dream to see which had the shortest queue time, when suddenly, and magically.. *I swear I heard the angels singing* .. Twisting Nether appeared on the realm list.

Wow Mort! You might just well be one of the oldest characters on the server!

How does that make you feel Mom?

Hehe, Mort is correct. I rolled a few hours after TN was released. I remember I first had a troll hunter named Jyron, then gave up on him at level 22. Leveling truely sucked.

Pylith was there.. though as a paladin back then.. one of the Council of Nine in Order of Stone.

Good times, right Garbhan?

I did the same thing Mortica, that was exactly how I found TN. Little did I know that I was to be infected with a crimson madness just a few hours later :P

I was dead set to roll on Emerald Dream the day it opened. Then, like Mortica, I toggled around the queue lines between it and Maelstrom. I went and ate dinner, watched a movie, and then later that night I saw TN on there. TN actually had a queue time as well....but I figured I'd give it a shot.

Lovely was the first character I rolled, and I've been addicted to RP/PVP since.

There was a Que for TN?

/shrug

Not recalling that... >_>

Only on the first night. I had to wait like 45 minutes to get in. After that night, there hasn't been a queue since.

The first couple weeks there was an intermitent queue.

Good times.

Ah, yes. Back when Fallacy was an undead-crazed murdering machine, before he got all redemptive and was thrust into Nozdormu's service. I actually started first on Maelstrom because 'Brig misled me and told me he and a couple others would roll there, and only after a letter the next day did I see that he'd gone to Twisting Nether.

I was on that first night, due to the server lines. I am glad I stayed here! Community is way better than the other servers. First night, try to level to 6 was crazy. Mobs were being killed faster than they could spawn. We were grouping for quests in the undead start area. "LFG to kill lvl 1 wolves and duskbats' seems so funny now, but we were there.
