That is how I plan on setting up the talents. Any comments from the level 60 rogues we have here?

I would appreciate any Tips from rogues, too. Because damn I need help.

Absolutely. This leather armour concept is blowing my mind.

Any build can work well, and I'm certainly no expert, so these are just my thoughts.

Assassination:

From what I've read, most rogues don't take improved poisons. However, if you're going to, and you're going for a PvP build, I would pick Improved Poisons over Vile Poisons. The reason for this is in PvP, you usually want your poisons to do something other than just damage (crippling, mind numbing), so you want to make sure you get the poison on them. Really, Vile Poisons is only going to help you with Instant and Deadly poison. The resistance to dispelling effects probably isn't a big deal, because you can put it right back on them. On the other hand, if you only plan on using Instant and Deadly poison most of the time, then Vile Poisons may be the way to go.

I probably wouldn't put points into poisons at all. For PvP I'd go for Ruthlessness and Improved Expose Armor maybe (useful against warriors).

Subtlety:

I've never found Ghostly Strike to be very useful by itself. I did find it useful to use with Setup, which gives you a chance of adding combo points on dodge. If you want Ghostly Strike, I would probably move at least one point into Setup. If you're not going to go for that, Opportunity would be really nice for added damage in PvP.

Like I said though, these are just my thoughts. I've never tried a Cold Blood build. Get the talents you like. :)

Most rogues go heavy combat/sword for the leveling grind, then switch to daggers at about 55 plus. I stayed sword/combat even at 60. If you plan on doing a lot of PVP put points in what ever Master of deception is called now. It will help a great deal agaist other stealthers and those a few levels higher than you.

So for the grind, then combat spec?

As for PvP... Is there any particular weapon combination that seems effective? I know most rogues are sword/dagger combo... but can other combinations of weapons work well?

Ok how does that look - I am going for a PVP build that does damage. Don't really plan on doing end-game with this character.

Yea most players give up on maces because of the poor choice of 1 handed maces atleast BOE ones. I started out mace, then quickly changed to duo sword and ended up with a sword main hand with a dagger off hand. I don't mind what I use in my off hand as long as its high dps and fast.
