Hello,

My name is Zya and I just joined WoW about 2 weeks ago. I came from a lot of ftp systems, but then decided to take the leap into ptp MMORPGs. I was glad I did. I started in SWG and Roleplayed for a while there, and now I am in WoW, and saw this site! I immediately began to read up on the backstory behind WoW, and while I still have not gotten a full grasp on all the historical drama, I can say that I am glad to be here.

My RP background is from MSN chat based RPGs like SWRP, Planet Naboo, and Lord of the Rings. I find diescripitve RP to be very addicting, and prefer to be IC the whole time (Obviously whispers with brackets is TOTALLY cool). I just wanted to ask how the feel is for the RP? How easy is it to join a storyline at my low level... and is anyone looking for a NE Hunter (That is NOT a Legolas type character...).

I almost created a Horde character, but I heard Alliance was in short supply. I enjoy PvP and RP, so I thought the Alliance would provide plenty of targets LOL! (Not right now obviously).

I am Zya... a female Nightelf Hunter, (lvl 12). I am also thinking of leveling my PvP Gnome Rogue to 55, so I can start a Death Knight on this server to help me catch up with all you 70s! Does that sound like a good idea? I do not plan to walk in as a DK and be godly. I love the idea of a fallen character being redeemed... so I would play mine accordingly.

I'll make sure to stay away from you... LOL. I should clairify that I am actually a dude OOC, I know the reference was to my female character, but still. I usually play female characters (Before you bag on me... listen why) becasue I hate staring at a guy's butt all day. I just can't do it. Its uncomfortable and unenjoyable. That is not to say I will never roll a male character, but my main is usually female for this very reason. Now that is said, back to the greetings.

It's actually rather common for people to RP the opposing gender, for various reasons. My main character's a male, but I'm a woman.

Welcome! And yes, join /pastaexpress to hang out with some of the RP'ers across the alliance side. Don't fret if you don't see a lot of people in the channel, not everyone uses it. But usually there's at least one or two people from any RP guild that hang out there and can provide connections to other bases of RP'ers.

Hmm, if you're thinking you can just start a Death Knight when you have a level 55 character, I believe you need to have completed a chain quest in Northrend first, so you may as well choose one or the other to level now.

Nope. All you need now is a level 55+ on a server in order to make a Death Knight on that server.

Welcome Zya, I would recommend for your story.. you are a Vampire, who is fostering a undead baby. It's really unique, and would catch alot of people off gaurd.


If you come across Akuje in game, don't run, you'll be killed most certainly. If you /cower /beg etc. you may provoke the very last bit of human emotion and have your life spared.

Come across SavingGrace? Don't worry much, she's very bubbly and upbeat, although she at times will holy shock alliance just to hear the noises they make. Your best bet with her, /target savinggrace /sexy /flirt /love /cuddle. She'd be so wooed you wouldn't have anything to worry about.

Lisbet: Totally. I need some help. I am looking for a character history involving a Nightelf girl rbought up by a father that is is ancient, and taught her how to hunt and skin and use leather. I also was trying to get my Netherwhelp pet into the story somehow.. like her father was sent to the Outlands, where he tamed a netherwhelp, and sent it back through the portal to find Zya and relay a message (like a carrier pigeon). For some reason he is trapt, and remains there to this day. I want that to the trigger for Zya to go out on her own and find a way to improve her skills, to find her father.

Did the moonelves ever venture that far out? I was always under the impression they were home bodies that gaurded the tree (Blast! The name escapes me).

They were, yes. I believe (read: think, not know for sure) that back then they were all fightyfighty with the trolls which were pretty much everywhere except for the n'elve's little corner of the world.

No problem! I have some expierience on forums, so that made it easier. Simply go to your User CP tab up at the top left and click on it. Then on the left hand side you should see a Column marked "Control Panel". In there, go to "Settings and Options" section. In there you will find the "Edit Signature". Click on that.

Now from there, all I did was go down to the section "Signature picture". After I used paint to add my name to the picture, I clicked "browse" under "Option 2 - Upload Image From Your Computer " (Keep in mind the pixel limitations). Select the picture you want off your computer, and click ok. It will now take you back to the Edit Signature page.

Under "Option 2 - Upload Image From Your Computer ", you should see a small button labeled "Upload". Click it.

Now your picture should be up, but you need to insert it into your signature. To do that, go to the right of your uploaded picture, and click on "Insert Signature Picture".

You're done!

In the "Edit Signature" section, you should see this: '' Without the ' of course. That will let you know you have sucessfully loaded your image.
