Eire: Welcome! Today will be th' first episode in an epic journey. I, Eire o' th' Long Leg, will be regailin' ye's with th' epic tale of a journey. A journey from Anvilmar, in Coldridge Valley t' th' North, all th' way accross th' great pond t' Kalimdor an' eventually Teldrassil an' what lays beyond.
Th' frist step o' th' Journey, Anvilmar t' Kharanos, then on t' Thelsamar in Loch Modan. Do enjoy, an' fer all ye wee pups at home, I be a professional explorer an' this be nay recommended fer th' untrained amature.
((Made that first bit up, as I hadn't chatlogged the opening.))
Eire: Ah, th' wildlife. I've just run accross a rather Large Crag Boar. These beasties are fer th' most part friendly, unless provoked. If ye see 'ere... ack! Get away ye beastie! Dunnay touch me!!
Eire: ...
Eire: Me arm!!
Eire: Jus' now comin' up on th' Gol'Bolar Quarry now. Once th' greatest source o' copper n' all Khaz Modan, it's since been over run by barbaric Troggs! Th' foreman 'ere must be rippin' mad, I 'ear 'e's callin' fer all manner o adventurers t' get them oot!
Eire: North Gate Pass. One of th' two guard posts between Dun Morogh and Loch Modan, also one of the least desired posts in Magni's army!
Eire: Aye, we've reached Loch Modan at last! Th' Loch is th' only lake in th' world made by mortal hands. Th' Stonewrought Dam, built by th' finest Dwarven masons blocks th' water up, creatin' this beautiful lands most distinct feature.
Eire: Mind th' water, though, as there be rumors of a giant Threshers hidin' in th' depths!
Eire: Th' first leg o' our travels be almost complete as we near Thelsamar. Items of note in this town be th' famous Thelsamar Blood Sausages. Be wary on yer way in, though, as Vidra Hearthstove who works th' bar is always lookin' fer extra hands!
Eire: Join m'next time as we take th trip from Thelsamar t' Menethil Harbour through th' Dangerous Croq infested Wetlands.
Eire: Eire o' th' Explorers league signin' off!

Eire: Yes, it's time again! This is Eire o' th' Long Legs with th' Explorers league 'ere t' relate t'ye yet another harrowin' adventure on th' way t' th' heart o' Elfland.
Eire: T'day I'll be strikin' oot from th' Stoutlager Inn in Thelsamar an' makin' me trek north, through th' Wetlands t' fair Menethil Harbour.
Eire: Our first point o interest be th' Stonewrought Dam. Truly one've th' wonders o th' modern world, th' dam has it's own Garrison o' stout Mountaineers based oota Algaz Station t' watch fer Dark Iron troublemakers.
Eire: I've jus' passed through th' first tunnel o' Dun Algaz an' int' th' Wetlands! An' friends, dunnay forget if there be any questions, send 'em me way. I'm a font o' infermation.
Eire: Th' Wetlands, though under Dwarven jurastiction, are nay th' most safest places t' roam. There be Dragonmaw Orcs, not t'mention a host o' Dragonkin, Murlocs an' aye, e'en Gnolls!
Eire: A force o' Dark Irons 'ave also moved int' th' area with nefarious intents I'm sure.
Aelwyn: What are you documenting?
Eire: Ah, good question deary. Fer all ye jus' joinin' in, I'm undergoin' a great journey from Anvilmar t' Darnassus an' beyond!
Eire: Ye're very own Eire 'as just been saved by one Redsol o' th' Nuthouse Grill. It seems I stumbled upon a wee pocket o none-too friendly orcs!
Redsol: Aye, yers leaving em fer me ta smack I see
Redsol: Journalistic integrity and all that ?
Redsol laughs.
Eire: Onward!
Eire: I've just entered int' th' Wetlands proper an' I must say they've been aptly named. Ye watch out fer them spiders, they be mean beasties if I e'er seen 'em.
Eire: Truth be told, I'm nay too swell with me wood-chopper 'ere, an' I've lucked out runnin' int' my current travelin' companion, Redsol.
Redsol: Can nay see a fellow dwarf go down
Eire: T'me right be th' Mosshide Fen. This is home o th' Mosshide Gnolls as well as many a frightnin' swamp beast! I'd wager ye'd e'en find a skeleton or two o' some poor adventurer.
Eire: My companion an' I find ourselves at a crossroad. One o th' locals, Einar Stonegrip, tell me that were I to go north, I would find th' quiet town o' Dun Modr. That, however, would be a different adventure, for our journey takes us west n' on t' Menethil.
Eire thanks Einar Stonegrip.
Eire: Th' Wetlands, beside bein' home t' one o' th' Alliances bussiest port, is also th' cheif source o' Crocolisk hide, which 'as become increasin'ly popular amongst th' Stormwind Nobles.
Redsol: Crocolisk supper too
Eire: Aye, very good mate! Th' locals make a delicious meal called Crocolisk Gumbo, a wee spicey fer my tastes but certainly a somethin' t' try if e'er ye be out Menethil way.
Eire: Ah, finally, Menethil Harbour! From 'ere ye can book passage to either Theramore or Auberdine in Kalimdor. It is here that my companion an' I must part ways, as our journeys take us in different directions.
Eire: T'night, I'll bed at th' Deepwater Tavern an' see if I can get me any o' that Gumbo. Join next time as we cross th' great sea t' Kalimdor!
Eire: Eire o th' Explorers League, signin' oot!

Eire: Aye! It be time fer th' third instalment o' me great journey from Anvilmar t' th' far off elflands o' Teldrassil!
Eire: I'm standin' 'ere with Archaeologist Flagongut, a fellow explorer o Azeroth. Flagongut has been so kind as t' 'elp me book passage to Theramore an' provided me with a note t' help me get me on me way once I arrive. Cheers, Archaeologist Flagongut!
Eire: A feller by th' name o Adam Lind gets me sitchee-ated upon my vessel. Clear sailin' ahead I expect!
Eire: Well... we hit some rough waters around th' middle o' our journey. Th' Captain tells me that it were th' Malestrom, an e'er present storm what be caused by an ancient magicky disaster. Ah pity th' first sailor who e'er discovered that giant monster beasty
Eire: But we arrived safe n' mostly sound! This be th' port city o' Theramore, ruled by Jaina Proodmore formerly o' Lordaeron. Originally founded by refugees from th' Scourge in Lordaeron, Theramore 'as become a bustlin' source o' trade an' th' Alliance's main stronghold in Southern Kalimdor.
Eire: Baldruc th' Gryphon Master gives m'th' one-two aboot whot goes on 'ere. Seems that I'm goin' t' 'ave't travel west through th' dangerous Dustwallow Marsh. I'd hoped me troubles in swampland were done after th' Wetlands. All part've th' adventure!
Eire: I stand at th' gates o' Theramore. Th' sea breeze blows th' smell o th' marsh away, but I know that soon I'll be knee deep in it. With me ol' Worn Axe an' a trusty Old Blunderbuss, I go t' meet me destiny!
Eire: Th' locals warned me aboot th' wildlife an' I dare say they were right. I were jus' jumped by a massive spider whose origins could only be th' Nether! Luckily, a shot from me rifle sent th' beast packin'! Fer now....
Eire: I take a moment t' sit an' rest, munchin' on some Jerky from fair Kharanos. It seems a world away by now. Despite th' cobbled road, th' Swamp presses in... What dangers lur beyond th' short stone walls?
Eire: A Bridge. I was warned that though they may be sturdy, dunnay lurk upon 'em. Seems Dustwallow Marsh 'as it's own Crocs an they can drag a horse down without a struggle!
Eire: I've reached what be known as th' North Point Tower. I've traveled with narry a hitch since th' spider. I 'ear from one've th' guards that there be a village somewhere near with a population o' terrible Ogres loyal t' th' Horde!
Eire: I dunnay dispair howe'er, as I've found out that at th' end o th' road through th' Marsh, there be a solitary inn with warm food an' cool drink. Me mouth waters an' I press on!
Eire: Th' dangerous are nay jus' rumors. From out've th' scrubland a Crocilisk o' massive proportions charged me. If it werenay fer th' valiant rescue o' three Theramore sentries I would surely be lost t'th' swamp. Luck was with me t'day. I warm meself by their fire, then give me farewells. Praise be t' brave humans such as these!
Eire: A sign at a crossroads tells me I'm nearin' th' Barrens. Howe'er, I see th' rough word Brackenwall ontay th' post. Be this th' Ogre village? I dunnay stay t' find out!
Eire: Ah, a sign! Shady Rest Inn it says. This must be th' place. Khaz blesses me with luck, as I've survived th' swamp. I'll make rest 'ere t'night, and... oh no!
Eire: Smoke curls t'the sky an' ash covers th' ground. Th' Shady Rest Inn, an' any who were inside 'ave been burnt t' nothin'. After a quick looksy, I find some odd tracks on th' ground like nothin' th' Eastern Kingdoms e'er saw. What horrible beasts were these, I cannay say. I'll make camp behind th' ruins, an' keep a weather ear out as I rest. May th' light protect any who found their end in this grave.
Eire: Eire o th' Explorers' League signin' oot.

Eire: Ahoy! I spent th' night camped behind th' remains o th' Shady Rest Inn. Me night was mostly undisturbed 'sept for th' sound o' th' swamp. We continuin' our journey what started way back in far off Anvilmar t' th' lands o th' Elves!
Melora: It's rather amazing you spent the night undisturbed.
Eire: Aye, I do believe I lucked oot! Whatever burnt th' poor place dinnay return.
Eire: I've just moved int' th' Barrens an' lordy be it hot. This is Horde territory me friends so I'd better watch out!
Eire: This leg o me trek will take me along a stretch o' cobblin' known as th' Gold Road. From there, I'll make a stop off in th' Gobbo port o Ratchet!
Eire: An I' be on th' main road! There were a sign post written in strange languages, obviously th' tongues o th' Horde. For any who ne'er been t' this exotic land, I tell ye this - th' barrens be aptly named!
Eire: Me first sightin' o' a local! A massive Tauren Warrior who seemed surprised to see me. Ha! Ne'er seen a Dwarf in th' desert I suppose.
Eire: T'me right, jus' off th' road I can see what appears t'be a villiage of some sort. Th' buildings be primative an' made o' Canvas an' wood. I dunnay check what species lives there.
Eire: Aha! A Troll! I dunnay think she sees me. Shh! Keep quiet! As a member o th' Explorers League, I'm an observer first an' formost! I dunnay want t' disrupt th' locals!
Eire: Goodness! Lookit that! Ah been told th' Tauren carve totems in their image out've logs, but this! It be a massive tree all carved n' painted but it be easily big enough t' hit th' roof were it in th' Great Forge!
Eire: Th' locals are on t'me an they're nay too friendly! Though one seems t' be a human pirate with a rather provocative blouse...
Eire: I believe I'm near an outpost. Aye, a town.I'll skirt around th' outside an' try t' avoid notice!
Eire: Ah! Consultin' th' rare maps I 'ave on th' area, it seems I stumbled upon what's known as th' Crossroads. This hub gets all th' major traffic between Thunder Bluff an' Orgrimmar, th' two largest cities in all o' Kalimdor.
Eire: I'm lucky I 'ad such a breif run it with only them few!
Eire: Ah, Ratchet at last! Finally a place I can stitch me clothes an' hopefully have a bite an' a drink. Next time we'll be strikin' out through th' rest o th' Barrens t' Ashenvale.
Eire: Eire' o th' Long Leg signin' oot!
