Are we open to recruitment?

Or is this going to be a TNG thing only? Ie you play on TN you can join us in TNG, but nobody from VC can join or what?

I was thinking about this earlier.

I have the feeling that most people think of TNG as a closed unit of people we trust, but I am worried about us not intergrating into the community on Venture Co, and for that reason I think it would be unhealthy to remain closed. I think it is only fair to inform interested parties that we are a pre made community, and to direct them here maybe, but we should be embracing new friends and allies, yes?

And would people be interested in joining an alt guild? I am not sure we should be recruiting but we should accept new members on the basis that they are excellent roleplayers and play casually.

We are NOT openly recruiting.

However, if you group with someone, they seem cool, they ask about the guild...

Point them here so they understand it is primarily an alt guild, and that most of the people know each other through interactions either ingame or through the forums, so they'd be somewhat of an outsider to start with..but that doesn't mean they wouldn't be a welcome addition to our little offbeat family.

Oh..and once we get officers and stuff, we'd probably need to have at least one officer interview them or something, so it's not just a "zusteakai thought they were cool and invited them" sorta thing.

I think some people are getting a bit ... weird about people joining the guild though. My RL bf and an old guild mate from Infection joined and there were a few people who threw a fit and got all paranoid about it.

Chill folks! We're a good group of good people and don't worry about infiltration or freak out about being 'paranoid.' It's all about the RP and I think a good core group of people helping one another out shouldn't get all elitist and paranoid.
