TNG is a co-operative merging of various small associations for the purpose of mutual gain. Or maybe Acitrom has dirt on all y'all and leans on you occaisionally for reasons unknown. Either reason works for me.

Guild Officers will be the head of each association.

Even though the reality is we all joined at the same time as equals, I'd prefer to RP it as each association joined the co-operative with it's own structure in place. Think Mafia crime bosses getting together to split the turf.

Or if Christmas was an organization, you'd have santa and the elves in one corner, department stores in another, salvation army bell ringers in another, snot nosed kids in another, church groups in the middle, and 80's power ballad singers in the choir. *shifts eyes left and right*

So I'm reopening the call for officers/affiliations. This is an alt guild, so some leeway has to be given for those who plans to spend more time here than others.

What I'd like to see is those who want to help lead to come up with an RP idea for your little niche group. Now if someone comes up with a great idea, but doesn't necessarily want to take on the responsibility, someone else can take up the cause.

So far we have a structure that looks like the following:

<Possible Spy>

Characters who want to belong to TNG who did not originally come from TNG. They will be able to see guild chat, talk in guild chat.

<Members> Characters who do not belong to an affiliation. They have the same privileges/rank as the affiliations.
<Minions of Nath'Rexas> evil chickens make sexy leaders!
<Iron Brigade> Drunken Dwarves Unite!
<Privateers> Yaaarr!
<Division 6> sneeky sneeky!
<Sanctum> Casters Union

Guild members will be able to see guild chat, talk in guild chat, change their public note, and add new members.

<Veterans> For those characters who have shown considerable dedication to this server/guild.

<Officers> The eyes and ears and wielders of pokey sharp things.

<Guild Master> Only because there has to be one of these.

Officers would be:

Privateers - Aikaterine
Division 6 - Mittens
Iron Brigade - Kreizen
Minions of Nath'Rexas - Tiddus
Sanctum - Vii

Association Name: The Sanctum
Purpose/Focus: Where magic users and their private guard can meet and discuss the nuances of magic use, spells, power, and anything really that tickles their fancy.
RP Story/Background: Started up by Vii to revive the gnomish Magocracy, the Sanctum is a group of magic users, of any school or class, and their warrior guard. Any class is welcome, but those not wearing cloth (excluding druids) are expected to be there to protect their charge, the casters (including druids). The casters, of course, will be of higher "rank" than non-casters.. rogues, hunters, paladins, and warriors fall into this catagory, although they will be treated with the utmost respect, after all... they're the meatshield.

Officer(s): Brom, maybe another follower of the light with the same goals
Association Name: The Legion's Destruction
Purpose/Focus: A bit like Pylith's idea. The Legion's Destruction would be a group of souls dedicated to the destruction of the Burning legion, and anything left by it on Azeroth (Orcs, Forsaken, The Scourge, Warlocks, etc.). Other goals (quests) would still be accomplished, but the primary focus would be destroying the Burning Legion.
RP Story/Bacground: The above mentioned purpose has basically been Brom's life goals ever since his father died and he became a paladin. He feels that if he could lead others with the same cause, the main goal would have a greater chance of actually being completed. He also believes that there are many out there who would be willing to follow him in such a task.

*Note: Because of the nature of this association, warlocks would not be allowed to join. This is simply because warlocks are just one of the many marks left on Azeroth by the Burning Legion.

Association Name: The Peacebringers
Purpose/Focus: Dedicated to healing and bringing peace for all of Azeroth, Peacebringers often work alongside others (if they are good) to make sure that goals of purity and good intentions are met. Mostly non-combative, a Peacebringer will often stay behind the lines of battle to heal those who need it.
RP Story/Background: Beauty is a farmgirl from Westfall who's home was destroyed when the Defias took over the nearby Alexton Farmstead. With nowhere to go, she began training as a priest in Northshire Abbey, in an attempt to heal the wounds caused by the forces of the evil and corrupt. She is a bit naive, and open to suggestion about how to best serve the world. She is also a bit spunky, and will sometimes leap into danger when the odds are against her. She has a pet chicken named Ernest.

Association: Privateers
Purpose: While other associations may have a noble goal or a life's work, a Privateer works for money and resources. Hence, the main goal of this organization would be the amassing of wealth and power, and the overseeing of distributing that wealth and power to the rest of the guild; because even a selfish bastard will recognise that having a legion of warriors on your payroll is a good thing.
RP Background Piracy is an occupation that's been around for a very long time, and even though Aikaterine hasn't been around to see it all, she wishes she was. Before the guild arrived, she was the First Mate- but since her crew and captain are scattered, she's looking to revive the grand old tradition- even if it has to be on land.

Notes:
I would like the above faction to be considered an option, not a must, as privateering can be done individually just as well. Either way, I wanted to give an option for the greedy/selfish/loner/non-paladin characters to examine.

While the organization itself may include "evil" people, the running of it will be much more lawful, as it's common sense not to piss off your meatshields.

I am not particularly enthused about taking command of a guild faction, but I wrote my name down anyway seeing as how I have no idea who all would be interested, and thus have no idea who else would run it. Officer will be decided when there's evidence of a crew willing to volunteer.

Association Name: Division 6
Purpose/Focus: ((OOC)) Publicly: "To coordinate and ensure the long-term safety and protection of the guild." Privately, a black ops group available to take out targets that (RP wise) pose a threat to anyone in the guild... primarily NPCs, but other players may be targeted as well, provided that we find some way of being able to locate them (i.e. a horde alt on this server). Game mechanics wise, it is of course impossible to take out members of our own faction, but we are RP wise available to kill any target... regardless of faction. If an alliance is the target, however, it will need to be arranged with them to RP being assassinated. All orders and contracts are only taken from Aticrom, however, and thus all contracts must be cleared by him.
RP Story/Background: (All of this only if Mortica/aticroM approves) Aticrom, when forming the this association, knew (being a mafia lord genius) that in order for him to ensure the success of this guild, and his power within it, he would need an invisible knife with which to enforce his words and carry out his threats. A hand that he could extend, in secrecy, to silence those who he deems need silencing. A trump card that he would always knew he had, and thus give him an air of confidence in all his dealings. Thus, he formed Division 6, a group of rogues with the public front of being pencil-pushers and delivery people to take care of the day to day business of running an organization.

As is implied, all rogues who wish to be in this may, and will all be considered of equal rank. I'm thinking, however, that no more than 5 should be in it at a time.

Righteous Fire and The Legion's Destruction seem similar enough that a merge might be wiser for the guild.

Purpose/Focus: Military arm of the TNG! We like ta fight, drink, rough house, and trade bawdy talk about taverns and such! We defend all the otha members oer group, even dem long ears, and we take da fight ta all our enemies be dey evil crazed bunny rabbits, burnin legion, or da horde. Alsa we like ta get smashed up drunk on fine dwarven booze!

RP Story/Background: Well... we of da Iron Brigade was all in a tavern in ironforge one day when dis ere goblin delivered this strange brew! He told us it be strong stuff, strong bein good, so wes up an decided ta give it a go. All through da night we partied and fought creatin all kind a ruckus and we got drunk like ya never been drunk afore! De next mornin we all woke up trapped in dis ere cave! Da damn no account goblin had gotten us all drunk and stole our loot and was gunna sell us into slavery! We wuz locked in dese cages but we did our best ta fight our way out!

Afta some struggle we broke free ya and smashed out cages with our bare hands oh aye, but de goblin he was a waitin with his boys! We was outnumbered, nay weapons ta speak of, but lo did dat long ear Acitrom show up with some o his TNG guys and dey a laid a waste ta dat green skinned scum! We was so happy and owed em plenty sa we swore loyalty ta im and never looked back no siree!

Sounds like we're going to have to narrow down the branches a little just to make sure we don't have everyone as an officer running themselves! Hehe. Try to discuss amongst people with alike ideas if there can't be some sort of "creative merge" with exceptions to typical rulings. For instance, I already see Privateers, 2 Crusader branches, a Healer branch, a Military branch, and a Covert operations Branch. We're just missing an Arcane Branch and we'd have everything covered!

I think we'll have to choose between Legions Destruction or Righteous Fire as a group with the 10 ranks limitation.

So far we have a structure that looks like the following:

<Latrine Duty> Just in case someone decides to be cause trouble
<Drifters> Characters who do not belong to an affiliation (aka Members)

<Legions Destruction>kill kill kill (no warlocks) OR <Righteous Fire>Light Advocates (no warlocks, druids, or NE Priests)

Officer- Nath'Rexas (Tiddus' chicken) ((through it I would be the officer))

Nath'Rexas is a demon of immense power who long ago was trapped in the body of a chicken by Aegwynn. He has made a minion of Tiddus (the only person to communicate with) and has taken it upon himself to set up the Minions on Nath'Rexas, for those dedicated to destruction and finding a way to return their master to his demonic form. ( Evil sect!) No palidans or druids, or non-shadow priests.

NOTE: This is NOT a lock only guild. As a demon Nath'Rexas enjoys creating havoc and destruction, and so any of you angry or evil types will be welcome.

(( yeah there are some hard to believe patches in this but if the idea goes through I'll write up a story to explain it all.

Note: Righteous Fire isn't like the Grim's .. "peace through annihilation" ideal... at all.

Our goal isn't peace at all. We are the front line! The advance guard in the war against the Burning Legion. In his eyes.. all that is impure has a risk of being corrupted by the demons that threaten all of Azeroth, and must be burned and cleansed. When one threat is neutralized, we move on to the next one, there -is- no peace, the Fire is never-ending: healing with Holy Light the righteous, and burning the corrupted for all eternity, as the Guardian did... before that traitorous Medivh screwed everything up.

The orcs: The invasion, tools of the Legion. They must be erradicated.

The trolls: Ancient enemy of humankind.. no matter the tribe. Their presence will not be tolerated.

The tauren: Nomadic barbarians, uncivilized, and blasphemous with their worship of the.. "Earthmother" often believed to be Therazane the Stonemother, one of the old Elemental Lords that served the Old Gods. They will find thier shamanistic heathenism futile before the fire of the Light.

The undead: Abominations! Such a creature should never exsist in any world! Life after death is unnatural.. though the dry, ravaged bodies should burn nicely..

Warlocks: Servants of the Burning Legion! Drawing their very own into our world! The more their numbers grow the more demons we have in our world, strengthening the grip the Legion holds over Azeroth until they invade again! This crazy demon worship must be ended!

Edit/addon: TNG members wanting to join Righteous Fire MUST NOT BE AFRIAD OF GETTING DKS!

In light of this new post:

Legions Destruction is much more... nice. Seems to be the only thing I can think of. The main thing here is the whole DHK thing. While we see the Horde as our enemies, we at least respect some of them. Those loyal only to Thrall are not the abominations that were corrupted by Mannoroth, but then most are not loyal only to Thrall, are they? The Tauren? Members of Legion's Destruction could care less. They hold some respect for the Tauren, as they are not the barbarians you described so well.

Basically, Legion's destruction isn't like Righteous Fire in that it isn't as extreme. Say what you will, Pylith, but you remind me of The Grim a lot.

Well, in light of recent IC events, Brom would no longer find himself capable of leading such a force. So, if you were trying to decide between Legion's Destruction or Righteous Fire, the latter is the way to go.

I have the chicken.. Nath' Rexas is a talkative little fellow..

Razora, Finde was in the Barrens last night as his divinations latched onto what he suspected was Beauty's soul, but it was somewhere in the Barrens. That intrigues him since its a mystery.

He's going to be studying that puzzle, as well as Aikaterine's unusual death. he thinks it might all be related. He also has developed a newfound scientific interest in studying the Horde, in an Anthropological way.

So don't be surprised you new Hordlings if you hear about a gnome named Finde being spotted from time to time in and around the Barrens and Stonetalon Mts..
