Found this (http://www.warhammeralliance.com/forums/showthread.php?t=72314) today.

It's nice to find someone who was able to articulate why we have rules.

Obviously I don't run as tight a ship as they do, but we don't have as large a community either. Making a "zero tolerance" rule is too formal and stiff for TNG. The intention, for good or bad, is to let people be themselves (to a certain degree).

I know this is where the "TNG is clique-ish" description comes from. We say "this arbitrary over-stepping" is ok and "that arbitrary overstepping" is not ok. Each moderator here has their own vision of what good posts are and what unacceptable posts are. They may or may not mesh with the other moderators, other members of the site, or ultimately me, since I have to have the final say.

Life is clique-ish. Calling the TNG clique-ish is like reiterating the fact that we're all human.
