It's been happening to me off and on for the last week. I think the paid character transfer feature turned out to be far more popular than they originally planned.

yeah... same problem and i did the transfer deal and it's been like close to a week now and it's not done yet...

When the Venture Co. and other servers went down, Blizz made an announcement via login page of the game that they would have some website issues during the downtime.
