This eve The Seekers of Arthas has become official. Trevlyn and Hroth are the first two members of our council. Most of the horde know of my vision for the Seekers, and witnessed my first failure in creating it (I took in too many n00bs and didn't take the time to get quality members from the start. This has been fixed)

I will list our official guild information below, as it is in the guild thread.

The Seekers will be as much a part of TNG as any other guild, and hopefully a part of all storylines. Because of our roleplayed unique views, I am sure we can be used for unique parts in rp events.

How large/active is the guild?
Very active, but considering it is fairly new, it is small, but steadily growing. Quality is more important to us than quantity. Plus, we have the whole TNG community to rp with.

Is RP required? Is OOC allowed in guildchat, or do you have a separate channel for that?
RP is required. This is a heavy rp guild. We do have a separate OOC channel, however it is only to be used when OOC is absolutely necessary.

Do you have a level restriction?
Not yet, but once we get to an amount of members I feel comfortable with, we'll probably limit recruits to level 20+

Do you have a guild website?
Yes, http://seekersofarthas.guildportal.com

What is the backstory for the guild (if any)?
HE calls me. The voice is always there, gnawing at my free will and tearing my soul into two directions. Sometimes I doubt my own beliefs. And sometimes I end up back in that pit, not know what lies to believe and what truths to shun.

The grand prophecy of the Day of Judgement, when all Forsaken will be saved or condemned lingers in my mind. Some condemned criticize and turn a deaf ear to our preachings. But, His Truth is all that matters...

This is what we believe...
"Sylvanas is merely a puppet of the Lich King being used to test the will of the "Forsaken" so that HE can weed out the worthy. So, we can't be enemies of Sylvanas if she is merely being used by HIM. We're all undead. And to deny HIM is to deny what you are. Undead. No matter where you, as an Undead, stand, the final goal is the same. Destroy the living.

When the Forsaken was first born, it was because the Lich King lost power and Sylvanas had free will for a time. Once Arthas merged with Ner'zhul, he regained HIS power. And, he reached out with his mind again to take control of his servants. However, he noticed the "Forsaken" and decided to use this opportunity to his advantage and planted the seeds of something great. This is HIS plan. We all know that with the power the Lich King currently has, he could simply take back all of the "Forsaken" if he willed it. The truth is, he is using Sylvanas like a puppet, to test those called "Forsaken" and find out who among them are worthy. The Lich King lacks one thing in his army. Free-willed generals. That is the only weakness. Too much of the army is mindless. And if he were to gain free-willed, independent servants, they would be more dangerous than the mindless pawns that you see so often.

So, by putting up this facade and watching to see who comes around by the time the Day of Judgement arrives, HE will see who to keep free-willed and make them Generals of the Scourge, and those who fail this test will be turned back into mindless pawns.

So, if you argue that following HIM is to be mindless, then you are saying that you have failed the test. All undead, whether labeled "Forsaken" or not, have one thing in common. HIM. And to deny HIM is to deny yourself. If you cannot see this, then you have already failed the test and are condemned to a mindless existance when the Day of Judgement arrives."

And so I am once again possessed to call others to the cause, and carry the flag of the Scourge again. This is not about who you fight. This is only about what you believe and that you accept HIM as your master...

Is there an initiation process before you are tagged?
That's a hard question. Most potential members are individually interviewed by me personally. Other than that, we have an application questionnare that has some questions that could determine if you become a member.

What would you say is the average level of the guild?
We have a good variety, but I would say the majority of us are 30-40. We have some 20's, and some low teens. I hope to be spread accross all levels, so everyone has someone to group with, no matter where you are in the progression of the game.

How would you classify the guild in RP terms?
I would have to say Evil, only because most non-members would look upon the Seekers as evil, even if the Seekers don't believe that they are evil.

Other requirements
We prefer you're Undead, as it works with the backstory better. But, there can be exceptions if you can convince me.
