Just tried doing some Inscription levelling on the Beta today.

It's really, really easy so far, it seems.

Think JC with herbs.

Indeed. You either use the herbs themselves for ink, or crush five for components (Ala destruction of 5 ore for gems)

Well, first off, Horde will get it easier than Alliance, as one of the first things you can crush is Bloodthistle.

And you'll need a lot of it. 35 to 100 is pretty much that, Fadeleaf, Silverleaf and all those starter ones.

Inscription only thing but we finally get Scroll of Recall AKA Scroll of Town Portal!!!

15 minute cooldown (Unfortunately puts Ebon Hold Recall on a timer too) and you only need 25 skill.

Should be the shamans that you direct that too. Mages still have 'hearthstones' with 0 cooldown on them, and they're not bound to only one location. ;)

They did this before BC was launched too, patching in the expansion game files to be ready for the big install later on, saving atleast SOME space.

Jewelcrafting just wasn't available in the 2.0 release because all the trainers were in the new cities. Inscription will be trainable up to 375 (the TBC level) in the 3.0 release, and the trainers will be accessible.

Yeah, that really surprised me about inscriptions because JC wasn't available with the pre-BC patch, yet inscription is one of the 'woo, it's WotLK!' things they've been advertising for over a year. o_O Oh well, moar for me! >_>

Well, Dio. I personally think they're going to have a VERY exciting little adventure for us when we go to Northrend.

You see, everybody on Azeroth is going to board a boat. Yes! A boat! and they're going to saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaiiiiiil all the way to Northrend, and then they're going to get there, and then they're going to start questing.
