Librine

Silvermoon's Guild Hall was not just a place of registration and formation for guilds- no, the Hall was also home to the clerks and officials who dealt in land, finance, and inheritance. A testament to the emptiness of Quel'Thalas, the once-bustling Hall was now staffed by two clerks and the Guild officials. As such, Librine found it a quiet place to deal in the workings of her House. Convenient as well. All the elves she had to deal with were stationed right here.
Libby tapped her quill against the parchment, dried ink on the tip. Unrolled on the desk was a large parchment, mostly blank. Spidery letters at the top declared it as the family history of House Fierdane. The whole affair was only three generations long, three long rows of names. Neatly drawn lines defined lives... one line for blood relation, two for a marriage. Siblings on the same row, so on, so forth. What a silly idea, a family tree. Her House could hardly be called family, though they were probably one of the few Sin'dorei houses with more than one living heir.
This made things all sorts of complicated.
She glanced over the paper again.

It was as complete as she could get it from memory. The time before her mother would have to come out of history books. Grandma'ma was dead now, there would be no asking her. And frankly, Libby never had known the real name of the woman who raised her, her father's mother. There was no room anyway. Grandma'ma would fade into obscurity. Served her right.
She hunched over the desk, and sighed. After this there would be figures. maybe she should decorate the edge...
