I can't answer specifically about time zone however, I can at least let you know that we plan to add more realms sometime next week. Within those there will be a RP/PvP server.

Please realize that I don't have a specific date or time nor do I know specifically what time zone these will be or how many realms there will be. Also, the schedule could change if necessary.

I just wanted to make sure I got you some sort of information so that you knew we hadn't forgotten you.

Well, the character I had in mind HAS to be a druid, otherwise he loses that taint he found in the Emerald Dream. He's one can short of a six-pack. :P The first thing he did upon awakening was to kill his wife and her male "companion". He spied on her during the Emerald Dream, and it's one of the reasons he's so messed up. Before then he idolized her.

Not sure I want to create him just to grief though... This was a character I thought of before deciding on Nazshakul.

Well... I'd go either. I'm not picky. I've been there done that with both sides, although I've only given a lot of time to Warrior and Hunter. So, I'd probably do something besides Warrior or Hunter... not sure what... I'm not familiar with any other class (spec-wise).

If Alliance, I like to RP as a Dwarf more than the other races. It reflects my personality the best. I'd love to have another Dwarf Hunter, cuz I knwo that like the back of my hand. But, I might go Dwarf Pally... hmm. I dunno.

If Horde, I wouldn't do undead, since I got that covered on Twisting Nether. And I only like Orc if I'm an Orcish Warrior or Hunter. Since those classes are out, I'd probably roll a Troll or Tauren and try Shaman, Druid, or Priest I think.

It seems as though blizz actaully thought this one out... Looks to me as though they aren't releasing the RP realm with the others, so as to avoid the people coming in with the excuse of "I just chose a new realm, i didn't choose to RP". If so, high five blizz.

Crud, what I'm worried about is them releasing it on it's own. If it's the only PvP server going up at the time, then a bunch of pvp kiddies roll on it becuase it's the only new PvP server going.

You have to roll a tolerant and good natured troll female priest called 'Janice' who cares about herself, others and the environment. Also you have to periodically go out and help higher levels of the opposite faction, while organising attacks on Stromgarde Keep. At various points your character should randomly tell those she roleplays with, how much she respects and values them.

To be honest, I'm not all too eager to roll again. Alt-itis is going to affect me and then I'll neglect one of the two characters. Why divide the community up even further? Are we going to say everyone plays on TN this day and everyone on the other server this day? I'd hate to be on the other server when the majority of you are on TN and things like raids on towns that need defending happen and vice versa.

That and we'd end up with needing new forums. I'm torn.

The main reason I'm looking forward to the new server is that everyone will be the same level again! I'm tired of being a level 30 among 300 million level 60s... :cry:

I just hope the new one is on a separate server cluster than TN. That way, when TN goes down like it did last night, I'll be able to play another character. Other than that though, I won't be there much. I barely have time to keep up with Syreena and the other character I have here!

I think Mortica mentioned that was her original idea when she posted the idea of rolling opposites. To have a server to use while tn was down, not to actually switch to this server with that idea.

As amusing as the opposites would be and the Army of Darkness concept, I'm tempted to roll Alliance again. Why? Because then I'd get to play Mortica, Abric, Karkarov, Grisch, Vilmah...and a whole bunch of people I don't get to play with on Twisting Nether. Most bonding occurs in game, I believe, when people get to play alongside one another and chat in semi-real time compared to back and forths on forums.

Maybe a druid who actually thinks he's a cat? I dunno. But the opposites sound good too. There's too many options! My head's gonna 'splode!
