Another heads up, that little raid group idea I had seems to be doing pretty well. :) Treasure Seekers now has over 40 members and its own website and vent server. We do seem a little short on holy priests, resto shamans, and mages, though, and we may be looking for more after people's availability meets the final schedule. If you're interested in finishing up T4 and starting T5, please check out http://treasureseekers.guildportal.com and watch for openings. :D

Also, we have an in-game channel, aptly named "treasureseekers". Friends are welcome as long as they are respectful of the rules, which include no arguments, spam, or excessive profanity or vulgarity. It's a good place to find groups too.

Our officers include myself, Thoraggar, Fhenrir, Maithanet, and Dilago/Xanthoren if you have any questions. See you around!

I was going to raise the possibility of getting The Raven Cross involved but was holding out since there were other ideas and plans flying around at the time... now when I find out those plans have crashed and burned, I see on your website that you're no longer open for new people! XD

Though if you ever need an Elemental/Resto shaman for raids (and it's not one of the 4 days of the week that I can't do anything) then you can count me in.

As for the crudity thing, this ain't no Citadel, we're certainly not G -- or even PG-rated -- in the channel or on Vent. ;) But, too far to the extreme and folks get uncomfortable. <cough> I dunno what I'm saying, Vilmah should still be worried. Seriously though, friends are welcome to join and hang out long as they keep the most extreme conversations to other channels!

And no, no one has to attend all four raids! It's purely on a "what days you want to attend" basis. Some of our members can only raid weekends; some, only weekdays, so we have as much variety as we can. After we finish smashing up T4 we're cutting down to three days a week anyway. Can't put too much strain on people.

Our raids aim to end no later than 11:30 server if they start at 8 server. No one is expected to stay later than that, although if the majority of folks are willing to stay on, we can find replacements for those who need to go. We do have an early raid every other week for those for whom it works better.

We use the Suicide Kings loot distribution system for simplicity and fairness. I tracked DKP in Citadel faaaar too long to ever want to do that again. Lord no. Some of you know. And those boots did in fact get disenchanted since our one ele shaman already had them, and no one wanted them for offspec or soloing use (which would not have bumped them on the list). More voids for the bank!

And lastly, I would have been glad if Raven Cross had gotten involved, but unfortunately before I knew it we had 50 members and couldn't afford to continue taking any and all applications coming our way. We're mostly comprised of folks from Sanctuary, TNR, Alliance, and the Crew for now. Applications will be reopening soon to pick up classes we're short on though, so keep an eye out if you're interested! And of course if you want to hang out in the channel, there's always the possibility to come fill in on a raid if a slot opens up.

So yeah... any questions about TS, or the channel, or our vent server... send them my or Maithanet's way! Or Fhenrir's I suppose. Nomeni, Xanthoren (Dilago), and Deathshadow are also officers. Me and Maithanet are obviously the most talkative ones though :D
