Hi :) I am relatively new to WoW, playing on a RP server since beginning of May. I am not finding the atmosphere on my current realm to be *all* what I had hoped.

So I have been looking at options. I know Steamwheedle opened recently and I have looked at it. But something is just luring me in about this realm TN. I have never PvP'd before (don't smack me please!) But I been into RP for a number of years.

I took a break this week from all my confusion here and went to the new EQ progression servers. I was on EQ for 6 years, various servers, including their version of RP - Firiona Vie. Frustration looming over my head like a dark cloud, I decide to go start on TN and see how it goes.

I am looking for helpful advice. Words of wisdom if you will. I have been on TN less than 10 minutes and someone says "there is practically no RP on this server anymore." Blah.

I am not buying that. You don't have a completely dead RP realm with a message board community like this. Maybe you all don't really play wow you just come to these forums, but...I doubt that. *grins* So...I know your out there. Here I am. If I end up staying, I am certain my henchmen will follow me.

The Grim, Sanctuary, Infection, and my own new heavy rp guild Seekers of Arthas (http://seekersofarthas.guildportal.com) are just a few groups filled to the brim with great rp-ers. Although, mine is fairly new and trying to grow right now...

In any case, you can definately find a place here. If you plan to be Undead, then perhaps you want to check out Seekers of Arthas. Some of the members in it so far are young in level, whereas some of the other already established guilds have mainly high levels.

It's ultimately up to you.

Hehe, for the record, though, you don't become Undead by being killed by one. You have to be subject to the plague which was spread through grains and foods in Lordaeron and engineered for Human transformation mainly.

There are plenty of RP guilds on both sides, offering a wide range of temperaments and goals to choose from. There's an rp chat channel as well (/join rp) and random rp to be found anywhere, with a bit of luck and searching.

I'd suggest grabbing flagRSP and browsing a few different guilds mentioned here.

TN's rp community is fine. If you go into any major city with a mind to rp, you will find it. As for PvP, I'd recommend reading the stickies at the top of the TN boards. You will be ganked and corpse-camped often by skull-levels. It doesn't happen all the time, but it happens. Some people are just losers and that's how they make themselves feel big and powerful. Actually, camping in pretty rare here compared to the PvP server I used to play on, but it's a possibility. Go get a drink, play an alt, call in the troops (if you're Horde, the guild Sanctuary enjoys inflicting pain on idiot corpse-campers). Overall, you will level a lot slower on a PvP server than on PvE.

You said blue skin and playing in the woods, so I'm guessing you're a night elf? Hopefully some more Alliance people will respond for you, if that's right.

There is RP here. It just doesn't jump out and slap you in the face. FlagRSP addon is a big plus for letting other RPers recognize you as an RPer. Getting into an active RP guild might make it easier for you to find other RPers.

I think they have an RP tavern in the park in Stormwind. I'm Horde, so if you are an elf, I won't be much help, but welcome anyway! :)

The Rpers working there will help you find a place to Rping by what you are looking for. ((Yes we do keep track of who we see)) There is also one in Ironforge Golden Flask across from griffiths.

Actually, the Golden Flask Inn is located in Stormwind Park northeast of the moonwell. Its run by two very friendly gnomes and full of exotic drinks and great people. One if I recall is named Cirwin so add him to your friends list if you want to know the hours. Its a very nice place for new and veteran Rpers because of the wide variety of people that frequent the place(excluding those Furblog NElfs who manage to ruin everybodys fun by running in and dancing on tables) an I sincerly reccomend going there.

We didn't take you because you're not what we were looking for. We have plenty of Undead in our guild, your character's personality just didn't fit in with our ideals.
