I'm going to be saving up my money for this baby, or atleast if flying in northrend is 8k then I'll have to save up anyways. But this drake is the most epic flier I have seen and always thought the nether drake looked not enough like a dragon for me. It would also be defiantly be sick for my Death Knight, he would have a array of different undead riding mounts. Undead mount, Undead charger, now a undead flying drake. I want I want I want I want!

This wasn't even on wikidot either and explains why I totally didn't see this till now and was looking around other DK sites for the heck of it.

I wish there was a unique heroic class for each of the races (except Bloodelves, we really don't need anymore - but that is just my elitism *ducks Bir's fist*). I think that would be way cooler than the "anyone can be a death knight".

Well, more than one race does fit with DK, though I agree that the "anyone can be" one is sorta suckish. And if they did do racial hero classes, I WOULD like to see spellbreaker, even if it is more BE stuff.

Well I certainly can not control their decision on the matter of all races being Death Knight. Really I always felt like it should be a anti paladin branch where those that can be pallies can be Death Knights. Aka Draenei, Humans, and Dwarves for alliance, Orcs, Undead, and Blood elves for the horde.

Bir it comes down to just wanting something new. I want to be a magic tank or absorber thats why I love Blood Elves and play them. Heck if Moknim's idea was Blizz's decision then I would love to see Blood Elf Spellbreakers as a BE hero class and being the magic tank then the Death Knight. All in all I don't like casters and everytime I kill one I giggle.

I can just see being frost spec with a DK and freeze one in place, arcane torrent followed by a stragulate to keep them silence as I wack them with two swords. /glee

Plus if the undead drake had flesh now that would be a dragon not like the weird flying salamander things that are the nether drakes. Then I would fly it living or dead it just looks more dragon to me.

Edit: Infection for Undead love <3 and Keraph for mentioning the Spellbreaker before my post zomg! Spellbreakers unite! Silly casters and damn mages stealing our iconic spell steal.

Each race has it's own DK. It's just a class.

I, for one, want the skeletal dragon I've been pining over since netherdrakes were added.

So work your ass off to get it and be one of the few, I really hope it's not as fucking common as the netherdrakes are. It will destroy the "cool" factor. If you're the only one with a skeletal dragon mount it's fucking awesome. Hell I hope it's at the very least as uncommon as the Raven Lord.

I sorta stand with Swerto in the hopes that they'll be at least more exclusive than the Netherdrakes are. That's not even asking much, as anyone can get a Netherdrake with very minimal work. It's just going to lose some of it's awe if everyone and their mother is running around on one.

That's a particularly harsh way of putting it, but...possibly.

Consider this, however. You can assume that say a Draenei or Tauren Death Knight (two of the more unlikely races) did not WILLINGLY become a DK. They were simply killed or captured, and the Death Knight program forced on them by the Lich King. Now they have regained their will, much like the Forsaken did, and they may well hate what they have become, but instead of just taking a nosedive into Molten Core, they'll use their newly gained powers against the one that cursed them. It's a lot like the Forsaken in general, class aside.

Of course my wise bretheren have accepted undeath as a gift.

So, with this logic, you wouldn't see a Tauren Deathknight go "Oh hay, I wanted more power so I decided to do this!" (As that is VERY contradictory to existing Tauren lore, though I suspect we'll be seeing people like that anyways), but it would be more "He made me this way, an abomination of the Earth Mother. I will spend every waking moment seeking my revenge and atonement"

I don't even think they would need to be Eredar. Look at Blade's Edge Mountains. There are Draenei there serving the very evil black dragonflight. If they would look towards Deathwing for power, why not the Lich King?

I think their idea that any race can be corrupted is a sound one based out of human nature. Before finding the evil Draenei in Blade's Edge I hated the race (other than their looks) because they were too 1 dimensional. It seemed that they had no will power. The thought that anyone can get sick of this crap and turn over to the Lich King's rule really appeals to me.

As far as being accepted by the Horde or Alliance: I can only speak for Horde but if Thrall is willing to accept Warlocks who are still trying to kill him into society, and an entire rogue assassin squad that is trying to kill him, these Deathknights who repented from their misguided ways better damn well be allowed entrance.
