High up in the Alterac Mountains Brakogar sat on the floor of a stone room by a small fire. Brakogar had forgotten the extreme chills of the mountain which the Frostwolf Clan had made their home, he was still amazed at how they were able to adapt and prosper in such harsh conditions. Littered around him there were several books and tomes which Brakogar constantly studied in turn, each one possesing information about the dangers that were ever growing in Kalimdor. Drek'thar the Far Seer and Spiritual Leader of the Clan had earlier suggested to Brakogar to stop studying those books, he had after all returned to The Frostwolves in order to reflect on more spiritual matters but Brakogar could not do so, he sensed an ever growing danger lurking in Kalimdor and needed to study all the information he had obtained in order to understand and combat the threat. Brakogar understood that in order to combat this new threat to the Horde, all Horde clans must stand as one or we would simply be destroyed one by one.
Suddenly there was a knock at the door, a young Frostwolf boy slowly opened it trying not to disturb Brakogar too much.
"Excuse me Master Brakogar, but there is an urgent message for you. It was brought by a rider from Durotar"
From behind the boy a large but agile looking Orc steped through the door in SnowWolf riding gear. He reached into his pouch and removed a small worn envelope and handed it to Brakogar, who thanked the rider with a warrior's salute. Brakogar then asked the boy to serve a meal for the rider and replenish his supplies.
As soon as the Wolf Rider and the boy left the room, Brakogar looked at the envelope with both puzzlement and curiosity. He had no idea what it could be. Brakogar ripped the envelope open and begun to read the message, as he was reading it his facial expression slowly started to turned to stone. After finishing reading the note he stood like a statue in the middle of the room with an expresionless face but with a clear fire in his eyes. He then threw the note in the fire and as he watched it turn to ashes he called upon the boy and asked him to help him pack his belongings.
Some days later in Orgrimmar, some of the Frostwolf Brothers sat at their common hall many wore a confused or worried face. The Brothers generaly enjoyed chatting with each other but not today, a few of them sat at their tables with an eerie silence while the younger ones continualy whispered each other asking what was going on. No one had bothered to open any of the windows so the darkness only made the ambience ever more Grim.
Then suddenly the door opened allowing the much needed sunlight inside. Through the light a figure walked in, all inside simply covered their eyes against the sunlight while facing the door. As the stranger steped further into the room and the eyes of the brothers adjusted to the light, the figure became more visible and some of the young new initiates started whispering to each other
"Who is that stranger? Do you know who that is?"
Morongo one of the senior brothers, opened his eyes wide and shouted.
"Brakogar! You have come back to us!"
The young initiates recognised the name from the History of the Brotherhood and along with the senior members begun to gather around Brakogar. All the worried and confused faces were suddenly gone and they all engaged in friendly chatter with food and drink, Brakogar got to know some new initiates while catching up on stories with the more senior ones.
soon after a tall but lanky figure stepped from the back room curious to see what was the fuzz happening in the hall.
"Hey mon, what is going on 'ere?"
Inmediate Brakogar stood up from his table with an ice cold face. He slowly walked towards Zusteakai while maintaining eye contact at all times, Zusteakai was mute with surprise. As Brakogar got within an arms length, the Troll Hunter was finaly able to move his stiffened tongue
"B..B..Brakogar you 're back?"
Inmediately the back of fist struck fast and hard at the Troll's long face sending him side ways into the ground. The young Troll officer begun to begg saying that it wasnt his fault and that it was necesary to do what he did.
Brakogar harshly responded
"You struck against a long time allie without any probocation or consultation with the Brotherhood!! Brothergrim did not even know what happened until he was told after the incident!!"
Zusteakai kneeled at Brakogar's feet in a begging position while still trying to put forward his reasons
"But Brakogar mon, I needed to do this to incapacitate Lovely.. so that I could rescue her from the Grim, we need to show signs of good will to the Alliance so that we can join against the common bug threat. Together is the only way we can safe the world"
Brakogar stared at him with an angered but slightly understanding face.
"You did not think of the consequences did you? Look around you, thanks to your actions we have been branded as traitors by half of of the Horde! And now The Grim are withdrawing from the Nether Council as they believe that the few that followed you were sanctioned by it!! Your actions have splintered the Horde into factions!!"
Brakogar paused for a bit to catch his breath and settle his anger.
"Tell me Zusteakai, what good is the Horde to Azeroth if we are weakened by infighting and unable to stand on the same side in a war against the Sillith?"
Zusteakai felt ashamed as he understood that what Brakogar spoke was true but still continued
"Brakogar, the Grim are evil, they follow Sylavannas and you know how the Foresaken are. They rape nature with evil experiments and prefer to poison their enemy than to meet them in the battlefield. Their ways go against Thrall's teachings and what we stand for"
Brakogar responded
"I personaly do not agree with the ways of the Grim but they are our allies and instrumental to the future of the Horde. Remember that Thrall also teaches that we shall honor our loyalty with our allies even if it means death. Despite our feelings the Dark lady is an allie of Thrall and The Foresaken a part of the Horde, we must honor that."
Zusteakai understood and became silent.
Brakogar then explained to Zusteakai that it was now necesary for him to be publicly punished in order to mend our relations with the Grim and heal the wounds that the splintering guilds had caused to the Horde.
Inmediately a young troll initiate run towards them and kneeled next to Zusteakai.
"Master Brakogar, please spare Zusteakai, it was not his fault it was mine. He listened to my foolish views and became captivated by them. Please spare him and punish me"
Brakogar still felt angered by the incident but could not help but admire the young Troll's loyalty to Zusteakai and in an understanding tone responded.
"Your views were not foolish young one, your hearts were well placed but your methods were not. This is why Zusteakai has not been exiled, but it is he who will face punishment as he was your superior and the instigator of the strike."
Brakogar now regretfuly faced Zusteakai.
"You must be punished for your actions Zust, it is the only way"
Zusteakai nodded and with the young troll initiate remained in a begging position next to each other.
Brakogar looked at them with some pitty towards them and regret, but knew that he did what was necesary. He then turned around and started to walk towards the door while checking a list of contacts that he had removed from his pocket.
"I have a long and hard day ahead of me, we shall discuss your punishment uppon my return..."
OOC:
Zusteakai will be publicly punished in a small RP event. A date and time shall be posted here soon.
