Zelaine Evershine

((It was raining today in St. Martin so my deep sea fishing got canceled, so I decided to start up the story of what Zelaine has been up to this week. For those of you that I haven’t talked to yet what she is basically doing is opening a portal to a small dimension she created similarly to the way liches and a few mages have. In this world time moved much faster then the outside world so 1 week in game time would be around 16 years in Zee’s little world. So be ready to meet the babies in a few days!))
Duskwallow was peaceful tonight. Zelaine wandered through the swamp enjoying her last few moments in this world that she would have for a long time. Hopefully her Grim would be able to keep the world safe for a week. Perhaps it would be a better place when she returned. Wishful thinking. She hated that she had to lie to Kethry, but she had to take this journey alone. Besides Kethry and Esmi needed time to work out their differences. Zelaine found a small clearing in the murky swamp, it rest on the ley lines of the area and there was nothing around but crocolisks. She took out some arcane dust and began drawing a large rune on the mossy ground. She shuffled through her bag and produced a large still heart. Mist surrounded the object as it chilled the humid air.
She placed the Lich’s heart in the center of her pattern. Zeliane took one more moment to look around her breathing in the earthy smells. With a slight sigh she stood over the heart in the center of the circle. Her eyes shut slowly and her breathing became controlled as arcane energy began to spark and crack around her. The arcane dust began to glow lighting the dim swamp. The heart below her rose up in the air hovering just in front of her chest. Zelaine focused all her power tapping into the ley line and concentrated it into the hovering heart. The fabric of the world in front of her began to crack, the hole slowing expanding until with a bright flash that nearly knocked Zelaine to her back an unsteady portal appeared in front of her. Without another hesitation Zelaine picked up her bag and stepped through. The portal began to deteriorate behind her leaving only some scorch marks on the ground and an annoyed crokolisk who had been woken from its sleep.
Zelaine found herself in her own little world, nothing like the ability to create to make one feel like a god. A grin smoothly spread across her face. All around her was white, it was impossible to tell where the ground ended and the sky began. The only sight was a large tree with various smaller plants surrounding it; a few small critters scurried about it. Next to the tree was a small cottage of human build. A nice quaint little cottage, she could have done much worse. She made her way to the cottage and opened the door. The wood creaked slightly as she made her way up the stairs to her bedroom. She unpacked her bags, placing the many books she brought on the shelves; she sat down on the bed and in moments was fast asleep.
