Well I joined this site today, and wanted to make a "hello" post, now that I am lurking here.

First, I have to give praise where its due to those responsible for creating and maintaining this website. Its a very impressive resource, and I wish that I had looked into it earlier.

Second, I should explain why I am here. You might know me as a member of Scorned, and while our guild is not known for its RP credentials (rightfully so), we actually do have some folks within who do enjoy some RP...though within the context of the guild, its just not possible to do it often. I've been a light RP'er myself since I came to TN, and my oirignal desire to RP got a bit lost in my zeal to level. Now my responsibilities within Scorned keep me busy..very busy sometimes. As such, I don't often get to mingle with the "general population" of the server as much as I'd like to.

Participating in the recent RP event involving Lovely was a good way to get myself back into the RP swing, though I don't envision myself being much more than a light RP'er for a while. But yes, I very much enjoyed the raid on Southshore which followed...oh how it took me back to the pre-DK days when no one cared if they killed the weapon vendor. That day, I once again didn't care, and let the DKs mount up!

The TN forums on the WoW main site are a cesspool through which one must wade each day for a nugget of useful information, or a decent post. Hopefully this site will give me a better diversion, along with our guild site, while I am at work (where most of my forum browsing gets done).

Boudicca...were you the one who posted a really nice RP conversation you had with another RP-er?

I just vaguely remember it was between a troll and an undead (?) and the undead had saved the troll's life so the troll was now following the undead around and offered the undead her life because she owed it to the undead.

Anyway..if it was you, and you still have a copy of it, please post it on the site somewhere..it stood out in my memory as a great RP story and I'd love for some of the people who may not have been around in the beginning of the server time to see it :)

And about Scorned, I have no problem with them. They get a bad rep, but every single time I've ever seen them near an RP event they are courteous and mature people. I love Scorned, even if they kill me a few times.
