I am in the Twisting Nether alright....

(( So I am doing a little light RP - meeting Demortius in the RP channel, hunting some Scourge waiting for a BG to pop - when...

Warsong pops, and so do two mobs, and I am fighting them and Warsong pops again trying to demand my attention, I am in the middle of writing in the chat, think I'll grab a soulshard and jump into Warsong- I hit Soul Drain, mob dies, pet on second, but- I get the "loot lag" from my soulstone creation, Warsong pops again and I hit it and... I cant stop channeling Soul Drain, the mob 2nd mob is now immune to my attacks, my pet appears immune too, I can walk around but I am glowing purple and wont stop channeling, I try to type in chat but cant- then- I get a loading screen for Warsong and... now.. well.. now.. Warcraft cant seem to find any of my Twisting Nether characters- it keeps looking but cant find them.. it finds characters on other servers however just not Twisting Nether...I guess.. I guess..

I really am in the Twisting Nether...))

My deepest fear.. I looted myself.

I am also in the nether. Haven't been able to log back in after getting DC'ed. there is sadness.

I got back on.. got stuck on my horse and couldnt demount- then froze and-

I got back on- went to Warsong and ran out of mana sat down to drink and froze- and Warsong was over- and I never could reload back to Undercity...

So basically I am taking a break.. sometimes these things fix themselves...

and sometimes Blizzard takes them offline and fixes them.

The server did that every once in a while, just some server issues.

Or they had a bad line of code.

Stuff happens. Go play Halo 2 while you wait. or KOTOR one or two.

I visited my first character--a hunter on a PvE server. I was trying to get to the top of the troll temple in the Hinterlands where you get the mallet for Zul'Farrak. An undead priest came up and started helping me kill the troll I was fighting. (I'm a night elf there.) We took turns tagging and assisting our way up the temple. It felt very strange to be working with the other faction after all this time on a PvP server! But then we got to the top and he didn't want to take the chance against the 50 elite up there. I'm level 46, and he was about the same. We probably could have lived through it, I think. But he said no after seeing the elite, so I still didn't get that quest done after having it in my log for six months. :D
