Greetingsss...
OOC:
I've been playing World of Warcraft (with a couple of breaks here and there) since Open Beta. I was an original member of Seekers of Arthas on Argent Dawn. Recently, I've come back to Warcraft and started anew with an Undead Warrior. Currently, as of this post, I am season 18, on the Twisting Nether realm.
Originally, I found "Sanctuary," yet they found that my character wasn't a fit for their guild. I was disappointed, however, now I am looking for the perfect guild all over again.
I am seeking heavy rp, roleplaying events, pvp events, guildmates to group with through all levels, and a family feel. I prefer to roleplay as a pretty "evil" undead character. Almost scourge like. All he cares about is devouring flesh, and discovering his mysterious past. He has regular visions about a Captain of Lordaeron, the scourge attacking, and other things. Are they memories?
The only clue he had was a sword he awoke with in the Crypt upon the first day of his new life. The sword had an enscription, however some of the letters were rusted away: ??????de? Mo??r?? T????ius
Hopefully there is a guild out there for me. Feel free to either reply to this thread, or to contact me ingame. My name is Demortius (as if you didn't know, hehe)

Woops! I joined Infection late last night... before I saw this post. If you wish me to unguild for some rp event, I can do so.

I heard good things about Infection.
Grim ain't no family feel. Might is right, baby... if you want hugs and kisses, you got to go someplace else.
Like the land of fairy tales and sugar plums.

Infection has a family-feel OOCly. Not very family oriented ICly, however.
unless the plague is, in actuality, a lovebug.

Well... If you can find me another heavy-rp, active, tight-knit, rp-event-doing guild that my evil undead character can fit into... please tell me!

I was thinking of starting a new thread but thought I would jump in on this one. I am just putting out the feelers now for a guild. I have had too many bad quality pick up groups this week and I am getting a little frustrated
I had a look at the guild listings here and on the official boards, but it is hard to tell which ones are active sometimes, and I am also looking for quite specific requirements.
1. RP in guildchat is of moderate importance. I want my charcters to interact with my guild's characters, not just raid up and be a healing bot. An /ooc channel would be nice, but not absolutely required. I would love to be in a guild with a programme of scheduled events, but I know as a former guild leader of that type of guild how hard it can be to encourage participation, so I will settle for anything!
2. I would prefer an over 18 guild. I am not one of those people that mark all under 18s with the same brush, but I do like to interact with adults, especially if Vent or TS is involed.
3. As a female gamer I am more comfortable in a guild with a good female represenation. I dislike being the novelty female in the guild, and I don't like drawing attention to myself on the basis of gender. I also wanted to note that I am not seeking a female only guild either.
4. Strong desire for PvP and instances. I am not just looking for fluff. As a healer I find it enjoyable to be actually healing. And I am also not looking to be walked though instances by 60s, but to belong to a network of good quality players who are not going to mock me, be confused or astonished if I roleplay in a group. A guild with some 30s or 40s would be optimal so that we can all grow to 60 together.
Numbers are not important. I am happy in a large guild of great people, or a small intimate guild. It is more important that I find a good fit.
It feels like I am asking way too much :P But if you belong to a guild who at least checks some of those boxes on the Alliance side, please let me know. If you could point me to chat channels where I can find awesome, mature, Roleplaying, PvP and instance loving people that would be extremely helpful :)

I would suggest you contact Kurohane and have a chat with her in game. I might be biased here, but Swordwaltzers satisfies 99.9% of your requirements IMHO.
Oh and Thorns and Roses comes to mind.. Aendra is the one to speak with there..

Figure I might as well answer the OOC-side of things here. If you're intrested in more after this, you can either contact me or Kiraena in game, or drop by our site (http://swordwaltzers.guildportal.com).

Our guild chat is OOC and we do not have an active RP channel. However, that is mainly because we are constantly RPing with each other, either in the cities at a bar or out on the field. Our RP won't necissarily jump up and wrap around your neck, but it's there in spades and available with minimal effort (ie - just walk up to anyone wearing our tag).
We have our "Patrols" - which are open to all levels - once a week, which basically is an in-character World PvP night. We also have random other events (like the Shoot-off when the Fair comes in town) and pub nights, but those are spuratic. I try to keep at least one event/get-together happening each week, aside from Patrols. Also, Xelthan's been working on a new story-line that will be bringing more of the regular events to the guild. Privateers FTW.
2. I would prefer an over 18 guild. I am not one of those people that mark all under 18s with the same brush, but I do like to interact with adults, especially if Vent or TS is involed.
17+ only for us, mainly because we deal with rather graphic storylines at times and because, like you, we prefer an "adult" population in guildchat, especially with it being OOC.
3. As a female gamer I am more comfortable in a guild with a good female represenation. I dislike being the novelty female in the guild, and I don't like drawing attention to myself on the basis of gender. I also wanted to note that I am not seeking a female only guild either.
Three of our four officers (including your's truly) are female, and we have even more girls in the guild, though some are "secretly" females who play male toons. ^_~ If recruitment keeps up as it's been going, soon us chicks will out number the little boys.
Our secondary focus (our first being RP) is World PvP, specifically, the defense of the Alliance - be it from Horde, Scourge, or whatever else might come our way. We do have some minor plans for end-game and BG's, but those will never be the focus of the guild. We love instances, but there are plenty of raiding guilds out there already. Another one isn't needed. ^_~ We have a WIDE range of levels in the guild, all the way from the low-twenties to sixty, not including alts (and dear lord, some of use have the worst alt-fever... *eyes Alucian*).
Hope that helps! Like I said, if you want to know more, check out our site or send me a tell in game. Like Nouri said, Thorns and Roses might fit your bill too, especially if you are looking for more of a merc type of guild. Like us, though, they're guild chat is OOC.

"Dig a hole, dig a hole, dig a hole."
The best one I can remmember is the episode where they try to crash the pool party and he says "heh, I'm half baked".

Demortius, I hope you like the Revenge of the Fallen.

In all honesty, I found Infection not to be to my liking. No offense. Just not my style. Revenge of the Fallen is exactly what I'm looking for but... they don't have many member yet.
I still want to check out The Grim, just to know that what decision I stick with or make is the right one.

Of course I don't take offense, I'd never make someone stay where they weren't enjoying themselves, but would you mind telling me what you didn't like? Perhaps I can get a bit of insight on our flaws, and hopefully change them for the better. If not for you, than for future members ^^

How can I put it...? Um, too much of an OOC feel to it. Just didn't feel right. Could be the traditionalist in me. You have guild chat OOC and a secondary RP channel. I'm used to it the otherway around or no OOC at all.
I love the idea of an undead only guild, however it wasn't the same vision I had.

I see. A shame you couldn't stick around to see us in character. You might have a different opinion.
However, I know what you mean. A lot of people cock an eyebrow to our OOC guild chat, but that was our original leader's decision, and changing it now would be hard for some of our older members. I don't feel that IC guild chat is necessary, though, since we meet up for RP all the time, and we're in character pretty much wherever we're seen. I get your point, though, and I'll keep it in mind.
Edit: I will add that the OOC chat has really brought us together, so we really are like a family, if not in character. Then again, I don't see the potential for a family-feel in an evil undead guild ^^;;

Part of me does regret leaving Infection. Part of me doesn't want to let down Revenge of the Fallen. Part of me loves the idea of all undead guild. Another part of me is curious about The Grim.
I'm freakin' torn!

They're evil, but in Keraphs eyes, either not evil enouhg, or not focused enough, I'm not sure which, but they've kinda come up...lacking. That's all IC though, I freaken love the Grim, though I do miss some of their older members.

Good times eh? Like the server crash when we raided the island in Dustwallow.
Speaking of old members, Faelen is back.

Good times indeed. Glad to hear he's back! I mentioned him just yesterday, when Nadea and I were talking about older members of the server.
