View Full Version : Looking for a RP guild

Yes.

Thinking of maybe joining one sooner or later, it's been so cold and lonely using my other hand with a sock on it to RP with because I naturally XP in the least populated places in totally random areas.

I'm not really that interested into an evil type guild. I would be kicked out for suggesting simple and straightforward solutions and plans that would shatter the whole evil image. Not to mention I like to kick back and chill in the sun with nothin' but my loincloth on and some wolf steaks on the grill. And then probably share a steak with some wandering alliance who's looking for a snack. Hell, it doesn't matter, anyone is free to have a meal on me. If I ate it all, I'd be a fat tauren!

Now you see why I would get gkicked out of an evil oriented guild?

So yeah, I'm looking for a RP guild's who got perferably 20-30+ members ( I like having a group online cause I tend to play at random hours ) who aren't all under lvl 20 ( no, I won't be your personal only druid that happens to be higher level than everyone else in the guild and heal you every time ) who won't mind a casual additude tauren in their ranks.

I approve this thread with my Seal of Interest (yup I'm multiclassed as a paladin!)

Seriously, I was also wondering who were the active, visible truce-oriented RPing guilds on Twisting Nether... who knows, once I'm a bored 60 I may even let my french-canadian guild take care of itself to roleplay it out constantly. ^^

The Frostwolf Brotherhood was once a fairly pacifist Horde guild but the constant violation of our lands and the killing of our young by the Alliance forced us to become a War Guild. We continue to uphold our Honor and respect the Warchief's teachings but have adapted to the perils of our time.

ooc:

The Frostwolf Brotherhood is a medium-heavy roll playing Guild but we do not have the number of people you request. However we do have a sit in the Nether Council and that connects us directly to 10+ Guilds with hundreds of members.

We are mainly known in the Realm from our own RP events and are always willing to aid and participate in other Guild's events.

follow the link on my sig for more info.

I guess there aren't any really neutral guilds. Belblue might have to pass his pipe around ;)

Just out of curiosity, how many cult-fantical-guilds ARE there Alliance side now? O_o I seem to come across a new one at least once a week...

Hope you manage to find a good guild, Bel! ^_^ And you're a tauren, right? <3 the Taurens that don't attack me. :P

:D You win the TNG "I did not read the thread at all" award today!

I guess a paragraph of saying why I do not want an evil guild isn't enough but I can understand the horde/Alliance thing, I never said I was horde and you probably don't look at the public forums and see me making replies to every third thread.

((And who are some of the other evil alliance guilds? Could be interested to get a storyline going))

((I'll have to go look around - none of them really caught my eye too much. The usual "help us cast a shadow upon all of Azeroth!" and "We will rule the world!" type of junks, from what I've seen spammed in Elwynn and the like. I'm sure I'll hear of them again, and I'll take note to let ya know. ^_^ ))

I saw one tonight that was funny. I forget the name, but their tagline was "Whether you worship the dark or the light, embrace death, for death is what we worship" or some crap like that.

Funny stuff.

You got your Forsaken in my Alliance guild!

You got Alliance guild in my Forsaken!

Or...something.

I'm kind of looking for one as well. Darkblade isn't "evil", she's Forsaken. She does what she can to further the goals of Sylvanus (and Varimathras as well), but she's not out trying to bring about apocalypse. Though, if an apocalypse is needed to strengthen the Forsaken, so be it.
This is why I haven't applied for The Grim, because they are just evil, nor the Crimson Watch as they're trying to summon up some penultimate force of evil.
I've been trying to contact Infection, as their guild tenents (sp?) are right up her alley, but it seems the people in charge aren't on much (at least the people listed on their website).
And as far as the rest of the horde goes, she doesn't give a rat's ass about them. ;)

So um... What are the other neutral/good horde guilds out there? Citadal? Typhoon? But I personally don't really know how they're run or whatnot and what's required.

All I've got are my flowers to talk to on Longcat, lol... :D

Okies.. while I wouldn't really call us "Neutral" and "Good" is a matter of perspective, Citadel is certainly "honorable" I would say. We try to leave non-combatants alone (civilians), as well killing of Alliance younglings is generally frowned upon. We are medium RP, mature (age 22 up with a few special exceptions). Over 180 members now as we just absorbed the members of two smaller Horde guild with similar philosophies who were looking for more support for end game content.

We have many folk at all levels and there are generally 20-30 of us on at any given time.

Check us out at www.citadel.seekret.info and give us a call in game if you are interested.

Well, I'm actually 19 but age doesn't exactly equal maturity but I'll behave IC for the majority that I'm logged in.

;) I don't terrorize unless someone asks my character to.

(( Upon further thought... I probably could have just posted this topic

here instead...

Ah well, live and learn. :o ))

Yeah, it's a bit late for that, I already joined Citadel.

I have spent alot of time with and around many members of Citadel all good people from what I can tell. I would say you made a good choice.

I keep watch of the public forums well enough, and I knew you were Horde. I wasn't though, privy to the PvP aspect of faction rolling until just last night.

Furthermore, our people don't believe they're evil. They believe they are doing God's work, and are righteous and blessed to be selected for that work. It's actually a very interesting angle to play.

Lastly, I know that when someone sees a 'looking for guild' post, and they happen to be looking for one too, they'll more than likely check and see whose out there.

So my very subtle response wasn't just for you alone, but for anyone else that might take interest.
