Kay so.. In case anyone is wondering, I'm also Rosemerta. Mae's my 60, Rose was my attempt to escape the drama that came washing down after Pinnacle broke up *sniff!*

(A girl and her husband can't even go on game leave for a month to have a baby! We go away for a month, and the whole thing fell apart in like the second week. Sheesh!)

But I hate leveling, and I always wanted to actualy ROLEPLAY my druid instead of just writing stories on our guild forums and OOC it up in game all the time. On top of that, the hubby has completely sworn off WoW after the whole ordeal (We got harrassed when we logged back in after our month, because the GM told the lot of them we held the guild bank. We didnt.)

Thus the "Gralin never came home" Storyline. Don't wanna kill him off, incase the husband decides to play again.

I do still play rosey, just.. not.. as much.


BUT I'm rambling! (I'm good at that :( )

Mae needs a new "home", a guild that will inspire her to fight again. Right now she's fighting the scourge, but only because she feels its what Elune wants from her. Her heart isn't in it, and she's terribly lonely. She was in pinnacle since the begining, and really, to her, if she doesn't belong to a guild, she doesn't have a purpous. She's just an empty shell on automatic.

My point? I don't know where to start looking for the right guild, one thats rp and not just full of leet kiddies. I did the raiding thing (She's got mostly purple MC/ZG gear, and I made it up to Chromagus in BWL before I took my leave of playing), now I wanna do the roleplaying thing.

I'm not asking to be accepted, just asking for a bit of information about the guilds floating around here on the Gazette, so I can decide for myself where Mae would fit best, and then apply :)

There's a whole bunch of good Alliance RP guilds around. I'm sure they'll drop in here to let you know about themselves.

I have to say I wasn't upset to see Pinnacle go, but understand why you would be. Y'all had too many Taddortots and Paintrains and not enough Mae-maes!

I would say the Tears of Elune would be your best bet, Only because they are the one guild that i know that RPs and needs a level 60 druid also they are doing end-game.

I mean the Keepers are in sore need for druids and we are about to start to do end-game. But I do not want to be pushing the Keepers on people. Look us up if you like what you see feel free to contact me.

However the if you want end-game and RP i can guarantee that the Tears do both.

Rooks - no clue. I have only run with them once and even then we did it on Vent.

If you are looking for a small guild that does RP and has alot of fun, check the Thorns and Roses, the Swordwaltzers, the Ironblade Mercenaries and there are a few others.

ED Is no longer an RP guild.

Ascension has RPers with them, so does TSB and others but they are not RP guilds.

Its alright, alot of people were glad to see it go. I miss the closeness and some** of the people..

You guys renewed my faith in the server, and I'm extremely greatful. I rairly ever socialised outside the guild, and I Rp Mae (when I came across the opertunity to, that is) to be guild-loyal over even the Alliance. She got disowned by her family for marrying the Dwarf, so her guild is her family. The downside to that.. I don't -know- anyone else, and its starting to be really hard to find a spot to wiggle myself into the RP comunity with her.


As for Taddor and Pain (Abusive), they're actualy really great guys.. just.. really young, and aren't "Suited for RP Servers". They're better off on Pvp servers, which is where I met'm ;p

** double astrisk'd because when I say some, I mean like 25 people out of the 80 some odd members. The rest just anoyed me. I dislike stupidity.

I'm actualy not looking for endgame. Been there, done that. If the guild I pick is doing/will do endgame, thats all fine, but its under no circumstances something I'm looking for.

As for Ascension, I dislike them out of sheer princaple. Its the "Pinnacle Traitors" Guild in my opinion, and while I like -a few- members there, I cannot stand their leadership. They would be the people who harrassed Gralin to the point where he just quit playing all together, and forbid me from playing while he's home. They are about as RP as RSA and Pinnacle combined are. (No offence)

This is a great idea! IFR!! IFR!! That would be an interesting sight: a stately nightelf lady marching through Ironforge surrounded by marching dwarves.

If you're mainly into RP, I'd suggest Swordwaltzers. Rooks, I don't know that much about but I hear they also RP quite a bit. Same with Tears of Elune. For a "fun" guild that also has RPers in it, I'd suggest Pathos Hammer - a great bunch of people and really focussed on having fun in-game. Not really well know for having a lot of RPers in it though.
