I noticed the same thing. Sharp image, but the shadows don't behave appropriately. That mirroring technique works for water reflections, but not for shadows.

Can't remember where the other pieces drop from, but they're all in heroics as well. If you look up "armor look-alikes" on WoWWikki, it will have a list for you.

The purple really goes well with his hair. And while I don't like headband of the model (wish those would change with accessories...like...I dunno "Scrunchy of the damned" or something) the colors look fabulous.

though it involves seriously more effort to find people that want to go do MC, BWL, and Ony for weeks for you to get some judgement gear, so much so that perhaps it might be more than going LFG heroic crappy 5 man.

You have no fucking idea how much more fun pre tbc raids were than this new bc small raid sized bullshit. Telling your real life friends you had to be home to go online and kill internet dragons (NEF AND ONY OMFG DARGONZ) with not 9, not 24, but 39 of your closest internet friends was pretty much the best thing EVER. AND having the BEST gear the game possibly had to offer was a fantastic feeling for all the effort put into it. Now? I can epic out three level capped characters easily by going into an arena and losing 10 games a week. WOOT. CASUAL GAMER.

.................Not to mention EVERY fucking TBC raid fight can be compared to something pre tbc as Blizz forgot where they put their originality until they started making Black Temple.

My dads been playing WoW for many years on a PvE server
He has joined and left over 10 heavy raiding guilds, most of which were pre-BC

He had 3 characters geared in tier 3 when BC hit, I'm well aware of how cool the old raids were because I used to pull a chair up next to my dads desk and watch him beat the shit out of C'thun and Kel'thuzad on a regular basis.

I have yet to see any Post BC raids as cool looking or as awesome as the Pre-BC raids.


I did not mean to sound like a "know it all"

I was simply stating that now, post BC, you can power through most of the raids, minus the bosses. Therefore it isn't as "heavy PvE" nowdays as it used to be, when you could wipe on trash if you were stupid.
