Ok, for the rest of you guys, I have to tell you about the most amazing RP that's unfolding.
The other evening, one of my guildmates was contacted by someone. This person remained IC the entire time that we roleplayed with them, so I have no clue who they really are. I still have absolutely no idea who it is. I can only assume it might be one of the TNG regulars. Their roleplaying skills, lore knowledge, rp organisation was... in short friggin amazing.
Basically we were contacted by a member of the forsaken who appeared to be still fighting the battle for his own free will against the Lich King. He kept slipping in and out of being either Scourge and a direct channel to the Lich King, and then back to himself.
In his lucid moments he managed to get across to myself and my associate, Torlus, what we could do to free him from Ner'zul's grasp.
Essentially we ended up with half the guild sneaking into Elwynn forest late on Saturday night, to find someone. I was a bit hesitant to drag half my guild of to something organised by someone I had no clue about, but they came through.
We completed his quest and returned to him, only to be given some dire news involving the Lich King and the Scourge.
Today I have recieved further info on this, all in character. It seems that other characters and players on Twisting Nether are being slowly drawn into this story. Personally, I'm so curious about so many things I could burst.
Not too sure I want to bring any details of this out here because it is not really my story that's being run. I'll see about putting something up on Nether Legends. The amazing thing is that all of this stuff is happening in game, and not on a forum.
So far I STILL have no clue what player this is. I do believe it's someone who knows me.
Whoever you are, you bloody rock, and I thank you for involving us in this. You've shown me how online RP can really work and myself, and I hope everyone else involved, is having a blast!))
